Well, a coworker is wondering if there's a good place to watch TV shows online for free and I have absolutely no idea since I use usenet/torrents for that.

So I ask thou wise spirit of the Humps, is there any free good site for watching TV shows online (perhaps with commercials instead of having to pay?)? The only ones I've found so far have been pay/month. I don't want to try and explain how to use torrents nor usenet because it'd be a waste of time, just trust me on that one. Razz

Can't be region blocked either, since she lives in Sweden.

Depends where u live.

In Canada for example, every channel has their shows on their website after 1st showing...so u can watch it on ur ipad or whatever. free ofc

But its probably country restricted

watchseries.eu is just great! Been using it for a long time to watch some old shows I was nostalgic about Razz

EDIT: @Nalo, do you have any ideas where to look for live streaming of a tv show episode (even better if it's HD)? I was able to watch the 24 finale live in 720p in some Ustream link I catched on the imdb forums (before it got deleted 1 minute later), but I've never been able to do something like that since.

If asking for that is against the rules I will delete it gladly.

Nope sorry, I only use streams for live sports. I have seen shows on ustream like you but they are very capricious and likely originated from a thread on /tv/

Whats some good euro football sites? I tried some years ago and only found horrible slow streaming. Cheers

Why not just sign up with Netflix? Now that it's launched in Sweden, there's a promo link that gives you the rest of 2012 for free. And it works great. They may not have a shitload of content yet, but I'm sure he can find a lot of things to watch.
