I know, but for some reason I just cant get my head around the fact someone thought that was a good idea.
I still dont like the game though.
I liked 1, 2 was fantastic, as was 3. 4 is crap and its when the downfall of one of the greatest (if not the greatest) true survival horror (don't give me that RE nonsense) games died.

Well I definitely disagree, SH4 was incredible and the first-person aspect in the apartment room was great.. really added to the creepy atmosphere.

yep,while I do agree the controls has been "dumped down" a bit,SH3 still has the best controls in the classic series,and even looking better then 4. still,the Room has better Story then 3

In the rear-mirror SH4 is actually a good (not the best) SH-game. But you could feel that it wasn't suppose to be a SH-game to begin with. I do like it and ever other SH-game after have been way worse (Well I kind of liked the Wii-version though, different feel...but still a good game)

Shattered memories is the biggest joke in the series. There's a total of six sections where you're running from enemies (you can't kill any enemy in the entire game) no final boss. It took me about 5 hours to beat it. Way shorter than the original Silent Hill which is supposed to be a so called remake of. Pathetic. It's the worst by far I say this having beat all 8 Silent Hill games that exist, yes even Downpour.

it's PS2 classic,direct PS2 port not HD at all. the other ones are not actually "remakes" not fully at least,sure they added new voice sounds and supposedly improvement graphics with HD support ,but it's still the same engine and most everything else.

Ah I see. Thanks! Actually, the HD collection was pretty decently upgraded, in my opinion.
