Really good..so many details. There's one thing that I don't like though, and it's the vintage beige palette; I know that they wanted to recreate the "old look" but they went to far imo.
I loved Napoleon Total War and Shogun II, BUT this would be so much better if they would actually fix some of the many AI issues present in almost all titles so far.

What worries me is the feeling that this might turn out to have even less strategic gameplay than before. Pre-set historical figure leading the army, opening cutscene, pre-fab battle lines on the beach, city under siege for years, etc. If this is a historical battle scenario, then fine.
But there is no indication that it is and feels like they might be ditching the usual noble family with random people approach, as well as the usual conquer who you please and force you into story events like this.
I really hope I get it wrong, because this to me looks like a very handholding experience.
I think that brown colour will be there. Different colour tones for different landscapes, envoirements is logical. And for the new screenshot: I don't think it's Carthage. It is Rome most probably.
And I don't think our PCs will suffer that much Look at the great work they did with Shogun 2(Late but it's better than nothing ). And Shogun 2 still looks gorgeous. We'll have to tone it down a little bit.
And last of all: Graphics and facial expresions are way better than the most console crap games that are either FPS or TPS. I mean, look at this! This is supposed to be a strategy game with huge amonts of soldiers on the map Look at the goddamn textures
The amount of detail is insane for a strategy game. But how much time do people spend zoomed in to gawk at units?
I hope they spent more time on actual gameplay than eye candy

That's why the Multiplayer Campaigns are awesome. When your friend has to duke it out against the AI, you can spectate and have time to observe the eye candy.

Not really, multiplayer campaigns become boring after one hour when you realize how much you are waiting and how little you can actually coop at the same time with their retarded battle system... , and no nobody watches zoomed in for hours on end ....

Sorry but I disagree, played about 23 campaigns with friends since release. I also don't suffer from ADHD, that is a plus too.
