Yup I can confirm that.
It's MSE's "trademark", for some strange reason it doesn't particularly like THETA's releases and always screams for viruses that do not exist. Razz

That's strange, I've got MSE and it hasn't said anything about THeTA's releases Neutral Still, detection or not, it's a false positive so you're (usually Razz) safe to ignore it Smile I'm just waiting for the game to hit Usenet.

Most likely a false positive, but if you're worried you can simply upload the .exe to VirusTotal and check their report.

Its 1.9 Gb so that could take awhile Very Happy

MSE's been detecting all THETA's releases as viruses for the past 2-3 months now here. Nothing to worry about because since its establishment 5 or so years ago their work has always been clean. Ignore it. I haven't had any problems so far.

Yeah thx i thought so, its probably ms scaring ppl to not download warez ^^

Huh?? You mean you're getting a warning on the 1.9GB installer? Hm, I thought the warning would be on the game .EXE itself.

Okay, just to add again; no MSE warning on install here. I've literally just finished installing MotN and didn't have a single message pop up Smile

I want to use a controller to play it but there's no way to change the buttons, the game thinks I have a 360 controller but I don't so the buttons are weird, A is B and Y is X. Any way I can change this?

Try x360ce (controller emulator).

I have a PS2 pad (try my files configured for it Mediafire link). Just dump the files where the .exe is located.

Controller doesnt work at all with x360ce for me in this game, got the newest version from their project page, works perfectly fine in every other game with my ps3 pad but not in this one.
The controller works without it but the buttons are swapped for me aswell.

4.1.522.0 version?

Version of what? MSE? Yes, it's always updated Smile I'm on 4.1.522.0 and had NO messages whatsoever, not from extracting the EXE, not from installing the game and not from scanning either. I even got mine from Rapidshare (thanks I_AM_AWESOME Smile)

The game itself is AWESOME but damn I really, really hate playing 2D games with the analogue stick. Hate it.

I had same problem before that's why I was wondering if there was a .ini file I could edit to switch the buttons around, super meat boy had something like that.

i cant get it to work... downloaded the theta version and the crack was fault, because the exe was launching steam.
tried the FTL one and it crashes just after the launch of the exe.
what i'm doing wrong? Confused

nvm, from the main EXE now it works... dunno why.

I've got the THeTA version and it works perfectly, no issues running from the shortcut it created on the desktop Smile

@demde

If you've got a PS3 controller, just install MIJ. It will save you so much hassle! 100% accurate 360 mode, works on every single xInput game because the driver identifies itself as a 360 Game Controller. You can even use other profiles too Smile

Going back to the false positive, i use Kaspersky, and every theta release gets flagged for me. I tend to just turn Kaspersky off when im testing one of their releases.

Avira doesn't recognize them anymore, though I still turn it off to avoid the "long check" on those big exe files.

Xpadder fixes it. You must put 360ce files into the .exe folder or else you will get double inputs at some time due to xpadder and normal usb pad controlls interlacement .
