Uhmm.. maybe people they are simply good at shots and use of small arms because THEY ACTUALLY ARE LIVING THE WORLD WHERE THEY HAVE TO? How many months or a year+ have they been on the run? Right.. A LONG TIME so logic dictates they actually get good at the use of the tools they have. yea it definitely isnt the ultra-realistic zombie show (ya, i know how it sounds) that it tried to be in the beginning.

but even if its not what it was supposed to be anymore, its still entertaining, gory and can be quite suspenseful at times.

Still haven't seen it but I'll take a guess and say that the TV character probably is on the same level as the comic character was at that time: pretty much just a gimmick.

Really loved the premiere even though I'm one of the people who don't need constant action and zombie killing in every episode to appreciate the qualities of this show. Also, the preview from the next episode looks sick!
About Michonne, I didn't think she looked that much ridiculous if you ask me, and if you say she's just a gimmick I guess I'll be even less bothered by it. Though I'm interested in her telling her story to Andrea, the Governor or anybody.

If you had read the comic you'd know that they stay in the prison for quite some time but there is LOTS of action
The whole point about the series is they are looking for a safe place to live, so it's not that strange that many episodes are at the same spot..
However, in the comic they arent staying very long at the farm...infact, there are many things that doesnt appear at all...including characters that are not in the comic or have not appeared in the tv series at all.

Its not just this show but I've always wondered why no one explained this in the zombie genre. A leather jacket for instance would be impossible to chew through.

Where do the zombies get energy to move if they dont eat each other? How come their jaws are suddenly super strong, but other muscles are relatively normal strength wise?
Wouldn't it have been logical if the characters had used the riot gear suits to clear out the dark and tight corridors? The zombie that bit Hershel would've definitely had problems penetrating his suit with its teeth.
