Secret of Mana; a kind of action RPG, a more sophisticated version of that Mystical Ninja game. Must be the best game I've ever played, I used to play it for three hours in a row with my brother until my wrists started aching and vision went purple from staring at the CRT. You can even play it in 4 player co-op if I'm correct.
It's sequel was never released outside Japan, but there is a translated ROM floating about the usual P2P sources.

was gunstar heroes made for the snes? i think it was, thats a good shooter, also sunset riders is fun too. The snes back catalogue is vast and has immense quality, theres so many to mention, pilotwings, mario, yoshis island, shadowrun, muscle bomber, bomberman series, starfox, the list could go on for hours!! It was THE console IMO

I said no beat-em-ups
I'm the only 1 with a joypad and the others are complaining when I beat them at EVERY game saying its much easier. The only game ive found it an advantage at really is contra 3 because I cant press more than 4 or 5 buttons on my keyboard at once (does any1 know how to disable this lock, im sure there's a way )

It's not a lock, it's a keyboard limitation.

Well sunset riders was pretty fun (if a little short) but there's no gunstar for the snes rock 'n' roll racing is a great game but I'm lookin for more 'adventury' games like contra 3 and sunset riders.
