This game is nothing short of amazing. I loved how they managed to recreate what made halo the fantastic series that it is. I have one complain though. What the heck is up with not a single boss in the game?

Are you using imgburn? Try these settings (mine works fine) on cheap media.
Goto Write=Calculate Optimal
Write Speed 4x
Goto Advanced Settings
Force Hypertuning=Enabled
Online Hypertuning=Enabled
Overspeed=Disabled
Smartburn=Enabled
Clear OPC History-Select Clear and press Ok
Then start burn.....hope this helps!

Thanks for trying to help!
I found the problem, it's my hdd. When i disconnect it and play with an usb stick everything works fine. I formatted the Drive but that didn't help unfortunately. Maybe there is some corrupted data in the inaccessible 6 gigs? Is there any way to clear that?

You cannot play them offline yet. I havent seen anyone that has been able to unlock them. If you go to that gametype in the menus it tells you that an Xbox Live connection is required.

Played for about 2-3 hours of the campaign and it's outstanding so far.
It's halo but better in every way. Looks like 343 taking over for bungie was a very good thing.

What I want to know is why sites constantly spew the same old crap about piracy being "dangerous" and people having their identity stolen because of it >_<

Quote:

The pirates caught should probably be grateful it's just a permaban from Live instead of their passwords and credit card numbers shipped to some hacker in the Eastern Bloc.

Oh.. really? I wasn't aware running bootleg DVDs on our games consoles could result in the Russian Mafia getting hold of our credit card numbers! WOW! Thank you for educating me!!

I'm not surprised at all; the way some people talk about tech and software in general these day, makes it sound like it's some sort of miracle/space magic. Laughing

Agreed but correct me if I'm wrong, some original Halo developers from Bungie moved 343 studios ?

Finished the campaign. This is some triple-A grade bullshit right here.
Destroy/deal with three (always three) of something for five hours while getting into forced arena battles as fillers since the switches/doors/whatever won't open until you clear the sector.
And Cortana? Those cheezy dialogues....'emotions'... it's like she came from Saints Row with most of her lines but the diference is that it doesn't fit the overall tone of the game at all. Oh and hello Harbinger, got tired of Mass Effect?

I never liked Halo but this game is ridiculous.
OK that last spaceship part was cool, but the rest of the game? Pour money into a new IP which doesn't end with a fucking quicktime event. Here's a hint...it could be a spaceship navigating arcadish game, with Cortanalike dialogues and a story in which that kind of shit could work.

If this linear game could ever get hooked up in a hospital, the heart monitor would go flat in a second, followed by the awful beep of death.

Wait a minute... even though you didn't like the predecessors and you didn't like this game at all from minute one, you still sat through it?! Wow, just... wow.

I'm only about two hours in, game is everything I expected. And that is a good thing, liked every Halo game so far (except ODST, never bothered to finish that one). Great design, 8-9/10 from me.

Finished the campaign myself... it was a good game, but it was way to few wow moments. The ending was pretty good, but the road there was pretty average. Few new enemies, few new guns. Id also like more abillities.

7.5/10

I eventually have to review the game, getting an even earlier look at it helps Wink
SP is about as good as in any other 'great' linear shooter, but personally I find it a huge disappointment. It's incomparable to any decent game in terms of gameplay quality let alone the possibilities in Dishonored as a very recent example of a truly good game.
