I am getting digital phone service hooked up next week.
Anyone have any bad luck with it?

Is that like where u have access to 411 (or whatever it is in ur countries) and service information etc?
cuz dont think I know what an isdn phone service is, i recall reading about an ISDN internet connection that what dial up based i think but thats it

Digital service goes through a broadband cable INTERNET modem. $40 a month for unlimited calls.

I have mine through my broadband couse i dont use my phone to much and its free except minute taxes. Only downside is when computer uses alot of bandwith phone wont work.

Ah now I understand the advantage...cuz i was gunna say if u had to pay for LD still, its a rip...i pay like $30 a month for my phone, and like 2 cents a min long distance, great plan still...its the cell that kills the money |

) Then they are excellent. Be careful not to get ones that are too small. We got 2 Digital phones That had backlights and were small (Only problem with them small is they get lost easy and fall down the back of chairs hehe 
) we also have 2 bigger Digital phones
