The game seems to get darker whenever Im in sneak mode. This is normal Im assuming?

I love how the AI guards change their routes after you silently take someone out. Makes it important to carefully choose where you hide the unconscious/dead bodies Smile

Dishonored is a new IP in stealth genre (primarily). So what did people expect? Current player count is in no way representative of quality of the game. Take a look at DXHR - estabilished IP, released when there were not many other new games. It still peaked "only" 56k concurrent players.

This. Should be obvious that new singleplayer only IPs sell less than known games with multiplayer.

Had to kill on this mission thus breaking the no-kill streak I had earlier, can't find a way to disable those things otherwise.
(Also I think I found quite a funny way to end the game with those first three images, outcome does depend on how you handle the situation and opening the door isn't really required at all but I choose to.)

(Also if you jump on her head she gets out of the bath wearing those clothes they had in the Golden Cat.)

I was wondering about that as well, I thought one could open it, stop time and then rush into the sewers and get up that way but it's not something I've tried.
(I don't think blink works through surfaces or it would be far easier.)

(Unless it's just for the rats, never took that alternative.)

It's the fifth one if I counted correctly.

EDIT: Sixth since the prologue is chapter 1 or something like that.
(Halfway through then if there actually is twelve chapters to the game as mentioned earlier in this thread.)

It doesn't ruin the in-game ghost achievement. The steam ghost achievement is related to not killing/alerting anyone and I think bodies found don't count as detection.

So I guess I'm the only one with performance issues?
I've got a pretty good rig but this game seems to "judder" a lot.
I can only assume this is PhysX judder?
Any other ATI card owners here that can comment?

If you want to see what I'm talking about (if you can see it).
Start the game
Wait until you see the Dishonored logo with "press any key".
Once you do, the part between then and seeing the main menu with "the boldest measures are the safest", is lagging/juddering like shit for me.
And that same lag/judder is everywhere once I start playing.

The FPS outside the lag/judder is great, and it feels like it could be really immersive if I could just remove it.

That's streaming and it is due to HDD activity. Smile
(This uses PhysX I think but it's not HW accelerated, CPU only.)

EDIT: Someone with a SSD could probably give a comparison, fragmentation can make the situation worse but a mechanical HDD is usually the slowest part of a system.
(You might have fast RAM or a strong CPU but it still needs to read the data off the HDD.)

EDIT: I have two 3TB disks and then two smaller (And older, from before I upgraded to this system.) 1TB ones, however while they are fast for what they are it's still nothing compared to a SSD, let alone a quality one.
