Ai feels wired, game need some patching... I think some of them don't move until you find them.

That's actually not true. At least not always. Their movement in the fog is extremely random and you can see it sometimes. Those Sniper's scanners can be used to observe this. I also think they can hear your squad's movements, just like you do (visually shown by these sound waves).

Hahaha what the fuck. Started a new game on Classic and I lost the very first mission and the XCOM project was immediately terminated resulting in game over. Wow.

My only real complaint is the % to hit - I can be just a few tiles away, using a laser rifle, with no cover between me and it, flanking from behind - and it STILL only gives 70% ish CTH - that's really not right.
It also seems to me that sniper rifles CTH have no bearing on the actual percentage from distance - I regularly get a kill with a CTH of 45% - which I would expect of course. I wonder if there is some problem with the % figures not displaying correctly.

There's always a gamble-random factor about % hit success.The original had it too.I'm ok with that as long as the hit percentage stays at logical values.

ive played the game all day but damn.. its all so random.. 80% chance to hit means i can miss 3 times in a row and i get one shoted in full cover across the map way too often -.-

I cant discuss the 80%, but in its defense, 80% is not a certain hit.. ok might be extremely bad luck, but 80% still is 80%..
and when you take a shot yourself they know where you are, and your squad member sometimes take a look around the corner, no? so might that explain why they can hit you?

How do I capture aliens? I have equiped the arc thrower. I am standing next to aliens, but x to switch weapon doesn't work. I can only shoot them with the standard weapon.

Anyone managed to copy over the FLT release files over the legit Steam version? I Dled the the cracked version to play it until my legal Steam version from GetGamesGo unlocked today.
The problem is, now Steam wants to download the 13GB again. I've tried the usual way of restoring games in Steam, copying over all the content from the FLT release to the XCOM folder inside "steamapps\common" or "steamapps\downloading\200510", then making steam verify the game cache but it seems to not recognize any file as proper and already downloaded -.-
Any suggestions? I could really save a lot of time and bandwidth if i could make it work.

Why is it that when I start on normal mode with the tutorial disabled the panic levels rise FAR faster than if I play the tutorial? Bug?

why cant I use my savegames when I have played polish version and now want to play english (by changing INT to POL in ini file)?
its seems as well that polish speech is not there in full. sometimes I only see subtitles. wtf?

I dont enjoy games as much as I used to, maybe because I no longer have so much time on my hands but I throughly enjoyed this one. The ending cinematic could have been longer though.
