Its not quite that easy.
You can edit the DishonoredEngine.ini file, but what settings determine stuff like Model Detail, subtitles , mouse sensitivity, difficulty level and FOV aren't easily recognized.
The only thing i managed to get set and stick so far are AA and rat shadows...LOL

Skidrow and FLT releases both save option settings just fine with 3DM v5.0 crack.
I just tested it.
Not sure about the not "showing savegame info" though , that the FLT version supposedly "fixed'.

edit: it was meant to say 3DM v5.0 crack. (not 5.9...typo...sorry...fixed)

Its nuked because the 3DM v5.0 crack that comes with it doesnt show "saved game info" properly on the saved games.
So, right now there are two choices.
1: 3DM v5.0 with proper options save on exit and saved games with no "info" showing when viewing in-game.
2: FLT crack with proper saved games showing all info but not saving options settings on exit.

Whats weird about the FLT release is that it didn't require a separate crack. It just installed the game via regular installation and then the game launches and plays fine (except for the options not saving)

Yeah, just mounted and installed.
So they must have just merged the crack into the iso image. (very convenient)

I copied the 3DM v5.0 crack into the FLT release, for now, because i want my options settings to stick.
Screw the savegame "info" , as long as they work...LOL

Weird, I swear for the few hours or so that I played, it did show save game info. Now it doesn't Confused Maybe I imagined it.

I don't like the way the game looks. Its a bit too cartoony for me. The story and look clash, at least for me. Also the story is a bit rushed. I almost feel like i started watching a movie about 1/3 in, since not a whole lot is explained. I have a hard time caring for the whole regicide issue since i don't really know whats going on. I'd appreciate a bit of back story.

That being said, i love the gameplay. It's really great.

I agree, I thought it was going to have a more realistic aesthetic. The water color look was off putting until I got used to it.

When i started playing i even thought it's going to be a bit of a comedy. I was quite shocked when I realized its quite dark.

I cannot comment on the ALI crack since i haven't tried it.

Tested all the cracks and actually there is no 100% working crack yet.
SKIDROW-3DM-ALI
All save graphics options on exit , but no info for day and time in saves
FLT
Has info for day and time, but does not save graphics options on exit

Seems the problem is in steam_api.dll
Will try to combine SKIDROW and FLT, but i doubt it will work.

@ixi: did you edit your sweetfx settings? I know it works since everything is a bit sharper with it, but it is very subtle. Your screens look very detailed.

Do the skidrow saves work with the other two releases?

edit: about the heart, I do not fully understand its function besides finding runes. What exactly do I get for learning people's thoughts? I know it's supposed to give some background story, but most of it is irrelevant (like the plethora of mails in HR). I'm not far into the game, not far at all, so that might be it. I was expecting to find out clues and SQs by using the heart Sad

You're not gonna find any mission related info with the heart. Like you said, it's just for background info. While it might be 'irrelevant', I find it adds to the richness of the game world Smile
