Well it's not yet unlocked in Europe. Plus it's not really an FPS like Borderlands so it will have less people. Not that I give a damn about how many people play this. Hopefully it will sell enough copies to allow them to continue developing great games.
I disabled Afterburner but nothing changed...No Nvidia profille either...ingame settings on max it can be....reallly don't know...
Have you disabled anti-aliasing in the game? That might conflict with the injector
Yup..disabled and I read the sweetfx readme like 10 times..llol..shiat!!
Actually it seems to work cause i have a log.log file created...Its just that the image just dosint change...maaybe its defaullt...I would like to know the settings you used...to ressemble your screennshot..

damn, first game in years i can remember with a crosshair toggle and even a dot! unfortunately it reminds me of the rage i have for all the 1" large crosshairs that serve no purpose
In the 2nd mission, the 2nd side quest related to granny something (dont remember her name) is there a non-lethal approach? I searched everywhere and the outcome "seems" lethal.
(How do I use spoiler tags? Would be easier to explain with those)
so with all the crack versions of 3dm, and now skidrown is out. Which one is best?
I'm using v.4 of the 3DM's crack (I believe there're five versions out there). I'm probably 3/4's into the game and it's been all smooth and silky so far.
Did you guys disable everything under "user interface"? Anything absolutely necessary in there I should leave on? What are "autosave in journal" and "climbing relative to camera"?
Some of the textures are really medicore even though they are supposedely 4x better than those in console versions. WTF? Maybe we're playing some version with normal, consolized textures?
I got a question for the hump wizards. During the first mission (The High Overseer one) where do you have to place the body of captain Curnow ? I turned off all the quest markers and refuse to turn them back on, so I have little idea where the safe spot is supposed to be.
For those complaining about textures: as a ton of people have already said, the game has this water/oil painting style, they're not meant to be super crisp. And if you're not convinced that they aren't in fact shit textures, just look at any sign. It's all readable; in most games nowadays you can't read any. I've not come across any that weren't readable. They're not amazing quality, but for the most part it fits the style of the game.
As for the rest of the game for me so far, this just about sums it up:
Loading times are just ridiculous, it's done loading before I even see a "Loading..." blink. It's got a crapton of options (more so than DX:HR, its closest competitor), proper controls, good combat mechanics, huge attention to detail. Particularly all the conversations going on and such are pretty brilliant; although thanks to one of the early NPCs I constantly hear the same damn song in my head now. What shall we do with the drunken sailor...
As for the bad? I don't like having to choose between jaggies, low vaseline or high vaseline. I'm not a fan of the injector sharpen shit either, so fuck that. Fortunately, the game itself is so good so far that I really couldn't care less about how shit looks

Anyone know?
Spoiler:
is that the one where he wants to poison the other fella? if so then you grab the guy and drag him to the interogation room which is just outside the library. i did it three times once by poisioning him. then the other guy. and then i just put them both to sleep and dragged the body out the window and put the guard outside the window in front of the interogation room to sleep and then put the guy in the interogation chair. easy peasy
robbing people is sorta sad i robbed a few 'survivors' and then i saw them all :'(

Spoiler:
You're not supposed to put his body anywhere.. you're supposed to SAVE Captain Curnow. It's the High Overseer you're supposed to kill, or brand with the heretic brand. So knock him unconscious and then carry him to the interrogation room.
Eight hours so far Loving every single second of it, though I'm pissed at myself for not finding all the religious books, so I didn't discover the keycode to the incinerator Anyway, it is quite simply one of the very best games this year and, indeed, in a long long time. I am completely in love with it

I'm trying SweetFX on Dishonored atm. It's slightly nicer, but I don't care about graphics much. Does it reduce performance in any meaningful way or is the performance difference neglibible?
