Anyone having any luck with FoV from configs? The only setting that I seem to be able to confirm working from configs (all 3 places tested, and both Engine.ini and Camera.ini) is forcing startup movies off.

JB: You know which .bik file is for the scaleform bit in the intro (if it even is there)? Disabled the other videos already (unskippable intro bullshit FTL), but that one isn't so obvious.

Legal.bik I believe, I usually kill the logo videos twice for UE3 titles, first by replacing the actual video files by a blank (2kb ca.) video file and then by changing engine.ini. You can change the fov from the in-game menu.

Those options are also not part of any UE3 ini file but rather options.sav along with the other save files and data. ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\SteamIDNumberHere\205100\remote - by default.)

What's with all the versions for the crack? I assume the cracks are just quick fixes with lots of triggers left intact?

I think it's more like compatibility problems judging by Google translate (3DM crack):

I see. I hope FoV can be increased above 85 at some point, something around 95-100 would be loevely.

And by the way JB, "bForceNoStartupMovies=false" - setting this to true actually works and skips all the intros up to the Loading and Press Any Key window, which is a lot less hassle than replacing the files.

Cheers, suspected it could be that because of the small filesize.

Anyway, dunno what I did but the save dates started working (maybe you need to play a while - you can see the one autosave with the blank date, that's the earliest one I had):

i`ve got save puzzle solved and explored the fuck of this level, but many guards can be robbed and i didnt approached most of them at all (no detection/no kill)

How to change FOV
Go to: Documents\My Games\Dishonored\DishonoredGame\Config
Open: DishonoredInput.ini
Add this line: "m_PCBindings=(Name="F4",Command="FOV 110")" after this line "m_PCBindings=(Name="Zero",Command="GBA_Shortcut_9")". Don't forget to save the file.
Launch your game and press F4.
Goodbye headache !
Comparison
How to Hide/display HUD
Add this line: m_PCBindings=(Name="F6",Command="ShowHUD true")
Press F6 to hide or display HUD.
Remove intro movies (Arkane logo, Bethesda logo, UE3 logo, etc)
Go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\DishonoredGame\Movies
Delete/move these files:
Legal.bik
LogoArkane.bik
LogoBethesda.bik
UE3_logo.bik
ZenimaxLegal.bik

Do you get some fancy-schmancy equivalent to a torch / night vision later on? I set the gamma pretty dark and it looks great, but uh... it's kinda dark now when I explore.
