I should have elaborated more. I purged the virus completely, but had to re-install origin and fifa. Now the application does not launch. Both the exe and config exe are fucked. It's interesting, because it works like a charm with the reloaded crack. Smile

1. Delete anything related with squads in save directory.
2. Paste the files from the archive
3. Start the game then go to My FIFA 13 - Load - Squads and load the one with latest date.
4. Enjoy
5. Make sure to make those 3 files read only so they wont get overwritten once you quit carrier mode.


Everytime i need to re-load the save file in order to get the teams correct, is there no other way around so the game will use this by default ?

This is the only solution for yarr version now. At least when you start new season as manager and choose from the beginning to start with these custom squads it saves them and they are fine on reload. Not much of a use though, cuz the game itself changes 80% of the teams on the first transfer window. Laughing

I'm now getting as far as the language choice and that's it...

Wonder why it works for some people and not others..

Graphics card? (ATI HD 4800)

All other directx and associated drivers are all up to date, Origin is on because my daughters owns all the Sims games and it needs to be on from them.

I've tried every thing offline and firewalled..

It was constantly crashing for me as well..I re-download, then applied crack.

Then deleted FIFA 13 folder from my documents..now it's working perfectly fine Smile

Why are you ganging up on the guy, its idiotic from EA to make that mistake. Its pretty uncommon for a game to require that piece of shit installed.

It definitely it's not a mistake it was made on purpose. They knew what they were doing. I'm not saying that they did the right thing but that wasn't a mistake.

Actually it is EA's mistake, did you see written on the box that you need windows media player installed ? i didn't Rolling Eyes + the fact that EU users has copies without wmp and ie

BTW, for what purpose ? i never played a game that needed windows media player for the movies Rolling Eyes

Yes I have a calculator sorry WMP installed, I'll check the version but I'm sure its the latest one.

I saw what was called a blackbox version for windows but the 1gig parts were on sites that give 50k max, sod that...

Any other recommendations apart from giving up on playing FIFA 13 on my PC Smile

I'm really enjoying this game, alot more then fifa12 and that was very good.
Fifa14 , i hope that has some modes like nba but on football terms obviously Smile

they should add an option to leave a game with reason and to rate a player. some times the connection of the opponent is so bad the game is stucking every half second or controlls are laggy as hell, unplayable!
