Man, I want this game but just don't have $50 right now. Region locked suxors too. Oh well, guess I try the isodemo till I can buy it later.

Yeah. I ordered from them too. Only problem is that they only send you the key on the 11th.
BTW if u use them, use DLCOMPARE coupon. You only get 60 cents discount, but everything counts, right? Smile

Don't worry, it is.
I was a huge fan of the originals and been playing the x360 version all day. There are obviously differences but it has the old feel to the game with a little bit more streamlining.

It's still frustrating as hell when your soldiers can't hit a cow with bango from 2 yards but hey, that's true to the first games Very Happy

So guys which shops are sending out the keys already? I asked a few shops per support chat yesterday and everybody said: 12.10. I have no problem with unlocking it per VPN tomorrow but I need a key to do so.

I am aware of gmg but 47€ is way to much Crying or Very sad

I believe it was the 10th originally in certain parts in Europe, now it's the 12th instead which is the usual three day delay from Tuesday - 9th - (US) to Friday - 12th - (EU) shipping, or what the reason was again. Smile

I did it a couple of times (and also recently), works fine, never got any complaints from Valve whatsoever.

It's region free if you buy it from a legitimate non-CIS store, like GMG, yeah Smile It's only region locked for buying cheap Ruskie copies.

Ok ordered at GMG and Preload complete. I don´t understand why GMG is the only store which has the keys already. Hope the activation via VPN worked (i.e. for the "right region" and not shitty EU release date) because I can´t see any information about games I activated per VPN. They are just disappearing in the shop right after activating Confused

Um, you have to use the VPN after the game is released in the US. It doesn't matter under what region you activate it.
