This is one of the most frustrating shooters I've ever play. Really close to the first Kane & Lynch.

Wait what? Ada campaign? So there's 4 campaigns?!

Oh you didn't know? Razz

Nope. I assume it has to be unlocked by playing the Leon, Chris and Jake campaigns through first? Is the Ada campaign as long?

Very big indeed. I'm on the 3rd chapter of Jake's campaign and should wind up with it and move onto Ada's campaign. There some really annoying parts, but overall, it's pretty good. Leon's campaign has been the best one so far.

I have a ways to go yet. I have completed Leon's campaign and have just done the first chapter of Chris' campaign.

Each campaign does feel like a separate Resident Evil game in itself.

Just done will all 3 campaigns and Jake's campaign, was without a doubt, the worst. Filled with absurd bunch of QTE's and don't even get me started on the second chapter. The snow was so blinding that I literally just followed the navigator at every step. Also, I don't understand the point of the vehicular sections in this game. It's purely retarded and serves no purpose at all. Going by the amount of cut-scenes they plagued this game with, they could have easily transformed those vehicular segments into one and just save us the agony. Anyway, moving onto Ada's campaign now. This would be a solo affair right?

Agreed, I thought at first Chris would be worst. But Jake's seem just pointless. Leons are still the best followed by Ada's I think. The game really seem like 4 games in one, only none of them are that good. I wish they would had put all the marbles in Leons chapters and made that one REALLY good.

Either trolling or capcom ninja.

Mechanically, by action games standards, this game is broken as fuuuck!

No sane person, that implies to have some knowledge about video games , can say that this... atrocity is a great video game, let alone "the best" in the series!

it is definitely not one of the best re games, but it is far better than 5 and one of the most fun coop experiences of this gen.

Finished it in coop , kinda agree with this one:

Quote:
With its old identity stripped away you've left with a massive action game that tends to check all the boxes instead of creating new ones, yet measured against its contemporaries it remains near the top of its class. Big, brash, and full of memorable moments, Resident Evil 6 deserves to be played by any fan of the action genre.

8.5 / 10 , they showed us everything with this one...please back to the roots now..

Finished all the campaigns. Ada's campaign was pretty decent and wasn't very long either. It tied up most of the loose ends of the story and my prediction about her story was right. Well it's been a fun ride, but I wish Capcom really focuses on improvising the gameplay next time.

almost done with it, finished leon chris and jake, on ada chapter 2. to me this is a 7 game and probably one of my biggest disappointments.. ever. well i played some of the old psx games.. only finished re3, was great to that time.. but then i wasn't a "must play every game" player. i got re3 from a friend.. and never played re1 & re2. but then i bought my ps2 and played re4.. and it was and is one of me best games i ever played. amazing game. re5 was also a great game, it was my first game on 360. loved him so much, still need to play its dlc. but re6 is not in this 2 games level. everything in re6 is worse. why the hell did they make the camera so close? its so stupid! whats worng with re4 camera? in re6 its so close and it get annoying so much! the shooting feels bad, the running sequences is so bad, how much qtes can they put in this? its not a 4.5 like gamespot gave it. but to me it is very disappointing. there are some good boss fights.. and some bad. and there is some good moments in this game and i like the story and the characters, but the gameplay isn't good enough. i had a blast with re5, and i'm just not having this with re6.
to me re4=9.5, re5= 8.5/9, re6=6.5-7.

to all of you hard resident evil fan who played the old games, when you say you want a horror survival resident evil what do you mean? the old games controls? the controls are already too old to be used in 2012 games.. i guess this is should be like dead space 1 but on earth Smile wtih a lot of exploration and puzzles, some silent hill elements maybe.
can you guys give me a game that you think the next resident evil should look like?

I agree that the controls in the older games wouldn't cut it today. But what I think most people want with RE, are that they return to be horror instead of action. Just slow the game down a little and create some tension not just explosion. Actually the game that was released to 3DS, RE - Revelation, was headed toward the right direction....but then we got RE6....

I started with the Leon Campaign and it started out good, but now i'm @ chapter 2 and it gets more and more action orientated not to speak of al the enemy's that spawn 1 meter away from me.

It would be no problem if the controls are made to face 10+ enemy's but they are not so usually i barely make it without any ammo left or i die because i cant properly move when i get swamped with enemy's.

I still like it but i guess thats inherent to a high budget game.
