On intro, title is Fahrenheit.
So it looks like first it was called "Indigo Prophecy" then they changed it to "Fahrenheit".

Interesting...
Indigo in US... because they don't want people to associate it with Fahrenheit 9/11?
Anyway - "Indygo Prophecy" as a title of game make more sense for me.

First the game was called Fahrenheit all over the world. But then a couple of movies and books etc with something like Fahrenheit in their name came out in the US. And we all know that most US people are retarted idiots who can't thing for the selfs (look at what happend to GTA:SA and what is happing to the Sims 2). So Atari thought: In Europe we don't change the name because the avarge iq of a person in Europe lies 150 points higher then one in the US. So for the US they changed the name into Indigo Prophecy because Atari doesn't want a damn fine becuase the name of a game of theirs looks a bit like an other name.
Conclusion the US is fucking up the games bussines.

The game seems to be very good at least the gameplay part. The graphic is horrible two years old at least. The menu and interface is console style so a distaster.

Wow, so much bad feeling for a game that is trying something different and deserves praise.

They had to implement kind of mouse movement recognition thing...
Why not a simple menu with options to click... simpler, faster, easier... |
Guys it's supposed to be engaging! Make you think, make you do and in the process make you feel more connected to the actions your committing. If it were just a mouse menu you clicked it would feel a lot more distant and perfunctory. I like it the way it is, and I hope something like this get's developed further on other titles of this ilk (it doesn't go far enough in my opinion).

Are you kidding? The graphics are great for what it's trying to achieve. There is something called ART you know, and games like Farcry et al rarely understand it. The only bad point was the exterior location outside of the diner, but that's to be expected I would imagine. But other than that I thought the style of graphics was very fitting and atmospheric.
I agree with the interface being console style though, I wasn't happy with that. But it's no disaster as a result, far from it.

There is no art in graphics. If it looks closer to reality is always better.

I think you are missing the point. A good graphics 'style' can make up for a reduced technology pallete.

You are wrong.
Very, very wrong.
First of all by definition, second of all in application.
I won't bother substantiating it as there is no point.
Closer to reality is not 'better' it's just one option.

Moron, you obviously have no appreciation of art in any form, seeing as physical art moved beyond mimicry over a century ago.
If you want perfect graphics, go out and play the game that is called, 'Real Life'. If you want things that don't exist in reality, then come play a computer game. But don't whine when it doesn't look like the view out of your window.

No, the hobo looks like he's an important character as he has a cutscene at the end. I don't understand that part myself, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
What really has me itching is what the consequences of your actions bring. For example, will moving the body to the cubicle reveal intent to the detectives? Where did you hide the knife (if you had the foresight to pick it up) and so many others.
I can't wait, this game just feels so fresh
On the adventure gamers forum someone likened it to Flashback and I remember how I felt when I first played that and Another World. I think it's a very apt comparison in style/atmosphere.

The reason is there is a kind of figth system in the full game.
Example you are being held up by the police, now on your screen you see some icons pointing right, left up or down, you then have to press the keys in the direction, and if you succede in the sequence, you will do things like beat the cops down, or something else. So it's more like a dance dance rev. fighting system.

The fighting sounds alot like the cutscene fights in shenmue. You have to push buttons at the right time and if done right, he will own good.
