Bah, lines  I have a big store near my place where you can pick up that 'gun' at the entrance and not everyone can do that you need an invitation and old people probably don't know how to use it anyway, well it's not complicated you just scan the bar code with it and it tells you exactly how much money you spent so far.
Then you go to the special counter, where there is no line I don't know why you just hand your gun, pay and leave 
I did this on Easter as well lines where so long, from the cashiers all the way to the wall and I just did my shopping, went to the gun only counter and was on my way out, you really feel like a king when you skip them lines  and the people were watching me like is this guy the owner, they're so ignorant with technology God bless em

I love that gun so much. In fact, here you don't even have to have any human contact, just put the "gun" in the stand, go to one of the automatic pay-stations, draw your store card, enter your visa/mastercard/bankingcard/whatever, pay, and leave. The best thing is that you put the stuff straight into the bags you pick up once you enter the store so you don't need to take everything up.. Just load your bag with stuff you "shoot", put the gun in the stand, pay and leave.
Of course, there's random manual controls so people don't just walk out with a bag full of un-scanned stuff.. once a month I tend to have to do that and my receipts are pretty much always correct.
And there are never lines for self-checkout....

I do my shopping all online, and the wife gets what I forget. so no ques for me
