for most part yes, but if you have not bought with them before you will have to scan documents proving you own the paypal account or whatever for them.. you can omit any sensitive data of course.. ive used them 4 times now and afte that initial annoyance never a problem since.. |

i tried hard to get hooked but in the end i got dissapointed, got to level 80 first week. theres no real hook in the game
spvp is fun but its too much of its own game in the game, the fact it doesnt give you anything to use on your "real" character might be key here
wvw is just a big zergfest, the biggest one wins, and we are the 3rd server in the world atm, might even be 2nd on the new tally. still shit imo, fun for a few days but playing against the french topservers wich fields people from both canada and france meaning they are full day and night gets old fast, and really shows numbers beat tactics every time
instances just suck ass so hard its not even funny, i expected alot smarter gameplay here. but its like taking ANY mmo go to ANY instance , skip having a tank or a real healer and just try to dodge everything and graveyard zerg it
pve is kinda nice but gets repetative pretty fast, its fine til you actually hit 80 and realize theres just 1 pure lvl 80 zone where you can farm mats
crafting is fuckin silly, the number of special ingredients you need to craft is insane, like for example claws/fangs of each tier, the droprate is about 20 per hour, and it takes 8 of em to create 1 thing.. .... so prepare to farm your ass to pieces or spend all your hard earned gold on the market
gear, now im kinda split here its nice to be able to get high tier gear easy when you hit 80 but at the same time.. then theres not much reason to play anymore, and the stat diffrance on the stuff thats out is just way too low, theres simply no reason to chase better then the rares you can get for a few gold or the rares you buy for karma, many of the higher tier sets have sucky bonuses and ull be better off gemstacking lower tier 80 gear. to put it simply you dont have to play for gear much, so that just leaves wvw...
the game changed alot from beta to here and i think everything went south, and i havent even mentioned the fuckin cashshop to get a few more bagslots or bankslots or.. well you know the list is long and prolly gonna get a fuckload longer before the end of the year
add to that the absolutely fuckin silly baseball caps and aviator sunglasses and shit you can get off the store.. i dont even get why that stuff is there

You're free to choose between playing on NA or EU servers.
The issue would be with registering the code itself.
From their website :
"When you create your account, our servers will perform a one-time check to make sure the serial code matches the region where you’re connecting from. We do this to support our local retail partners, and we use this information to connect you to your optimal data center, customer support team, and to ensure the correct language support. "
So as long as you trick their servers into thinking you're living in NA, you can register the NA code just fine. You will be directed toward NA but you will still have the ability to play on EU servers.

Yeah its called "buy a new PC" atleast that was the only thing that worked for me, game is extremly cpu dependent and still not very optimized, they should have just written "don't even bother without an overclocked I5" in the specs instead of the bullshit about dual core and stuff thats barely enough to start the game let alone play.

Damn,well I guess your right about "buying a new PC" Ive had mine for years.
Still I can play games maxed out, but GW2 95% of the its max speed, but when hitting those large places like Lions Arch it kinda goes a bit slower... Not deadly but still...

This has been the case regarding PvP in every MMO though. Thus, I see PvP as a throwaway feature in the genre. Until they make it to where gear is completely disregarded and combat is based on reflex there's really no point. DCUO came closest to succeeding in this regard, but just ended up being macro'd to hell and back once it went free to play, ultimately failing.
As for the game itself, I'm on a break now while finishing up Torchlight 2 and Borderlands 2, but it's pretty solid when viewed as a single player title. Given how the market system is set up (with easy at a glance access as to the lowest/highest seller and number of orders) crafting will only make money for the bots, so it isn't worth pursuing.

Appearently the guy from mplocker.com (Mario Ortiz - marioou@hotmail.com) used the key he sold me to recover the account and now the gw2 support wont give my account back. Does anyone know this guy? The site is no longer available and he won´t respond my emails. Is there any way to reach him? I was able to play for a couple of days and then they changed my password.

He got his keys from someone who was selling them to him from a stolen credit card, and pretty much all GW2 keys were banned.
Not quite sure how he managed to use a key to get the account back - did GW2 support give a reason as to why they won't return the account? Isn't your email linked to that account?

How long ago did you buy it? It must have been before the game went live as he was gone before then.

with the latest anti farm crap, i complety stopped playing.
after 20 min i dont get any loot in a level 80 map, in dungeons after 3 runs,i almost dont get any tokens, decked in exotic gear in starting zones i get killed by level 1 mobs (i exagerate with this).
in weekend i completed a new path in a dungeon (never completed that with my char) and got 15 tokens. vs 60.
what to do after 30 min when i'm on antifarm blacklist ? level up another char, and have a full rack of level 80 chars, to play then when antifarm shit activate on one ?
to hell with this shit game. is becoming worse day by day.
glad i got my bucks from d3 to pay for mop, now to get enough for at least 1-2 months.
