Does anyone know if Mesh Quality affects things like spotting,or seeing enemies ?
I keep looking for answers but can't find a serious answer, i like having the best framerates and mesh kills mine pretty bad,low 40's,i prefer low since that popin doesnt really bother me ?
Any ideeas ?
My understanding was that it only reduces geometric quality of shit at long range.

Yeah from what i've read on some technical analisys sites it says it only lowers the details on objects the further away they are.
But people say on the forums that when they have it higher they get magical spotting powers and shit.
If you think about it, if it makes things simpler from a detail point of view...wouldn't you be able to spot guys easier since its less clutter ?
But some say you can't see enemies or spot them that far with it on lower settings.

I'm encountering more hackers than before. I joined a server with several blatant ones advertising their hack, left that server and joined another - same shit.
I don't know about premium, but as far as I'm concerned vanilla BF3 is going down the drain.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

I saw that coming, sadly
I think it's because modding those files can potentially change other "gameplay" elements (remove suppression blur/other special effects) giving some kind of advantage. It's a shame..

So our FXAA that we used isn't safe anymore?

Well the FXAA injector doesn't modify any file so should be safe (I think)

Followup.. developer calls the mod "too colourful" (lololol... as opposed to Bluefield 3 have no colour? ) and states users will be permanently banned. Oh hai Blizzard, didn't see you there.

Typical DICE. In my opinion the changes look fantastic - a far more vibrant picture. For those that didn't know, NVIDIA users can mimic this effect (in everything, not just one title) by cranking up Digital Vibrance in the NV control panel.
Man, that music sure made me reminisce on BF2. Back when 64 player maps were actually designed to be 64 player maps. Sigh.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

That way they could also fine tune it, with the suppression/blood effects and all the other shit.
Except DICE doesn't give a shit about any work that doesn't involve free content
