they can fuck themselfs, new dongle... srsly? hope that will get cracked to work without the dongle,hopefully they dont use the keys they needed to create that cfw (so probably nobody else could remove the drm...)

3. No bricking risk involved (do not turn off power when upgrading)
4. Original game backup can be run on BDCFW via internal or external HDD without any modifications.
5. Blue Disk dongle can be removed after CFW is booted. No need to keep it plugged in all the time.
6. BD team will develop more features for BD USB dongle, such as PS2 emulating, offline/online cheat codes.

This is horseshit guys, 4.21CFW does not require this bullshit dongle. Fucking TrueBlue rebranded sellout cunts profiting off something that leaked and they had no right to.

Just look at DeanK's update on mM. He specifically mentioned two variants and that he hadn't tested it on the one, which now turns out to be another piece of shit dongle Rolling Eyes

Hopefully that means, that the dongle free CFW can play backups and that there will be eboots for it...

If you have a CFW, you don't need hacked EBOOTs Smile There's no 4.25-signed titles out there yet (I don't even think there's 4.25 signed updates/PSN games, though I'm a bit out of the loop so I'm not entirely sure... ask cyclone) so 4.21 will natively play anything released so far. Of course you know Sony, they'll just release newer and newer FW and then start doing to titles what they did after 3.60; signing updates and games with newer keys.

There are indeed no 4.25 games at all yet. But even when there will be, no worries, 4.25 games use the same keys as 4.20/21, so they will work out of the box on 4.21 CFW Smile

I too am curious about this...all I care about are exclusives, and the thought of being able to play the R&C Trilogy again and new GoW and Last Of Us...praise whoever does that.

So someone nice could make a 4.25 CFW? I upgraded to OFW 4.25 a coulpe of days ago. So should I stay at that or just forget about it.
I don't mind buying games but CFW has it's perks.

common misconception... if there will be 4.25cfw that does not in any way mean you will be able to install it if you are on OFW 4.25.

all this new cfw stuff is for people who are already on 3.55 cfw and such.

You can't install CFW on anything above 3.55, or unless you're already on CFW. So those on 3.60 and above still need to buy/use hardware flashers to get down to 3.55.

What makes you think you will be able to play the new GoW and Last of Us ? It won't be till March 2013 till they are out, so Sony would have about 5 months to resecure their console.

And yes @00101010, you are screwed, unless your console is an old model that can be downgraded with hardware flashers.

Hey guys - I've been out of the PS3 scene for a while...but I do have a CFW PS3. Is there a way to move profiles back and forth from that PS3 to my PSN PS3?

Like I (and i'm sure others) do with the 360 between a Live and JTAG/RGH console.
