Reminds me of the reason they stopped releasing NHL on PC. People just manually updated the rosters(NHL 2004 has up-to-date rosters on PC ), so they couldn't really sell the newer games on PC, and they just gradually watered them down till nobody bought them(to have a reason to stop releasing them on PC, I'm sure).
But people who are ready to pay that full price should have realistic expectations of what their platform of choice can offer. What did people expect, for the Wii version to suddenly have the 360 animation system?
I don't disagree on any one point, I still think this is a dick move to simply repackage last year's game and add this year's roster, selling for the same triple A price.
As long as idiots are prepared to pay, it's great business; little investment and great return. Just ask Apple.

I wish the game could happen on consoles..
Exactly, they kept releasing the PS2 version on PC till nobody bought it anymore.
(I think this was the last "PC" NHL game).
They tried to do the same with FIFA until the 2010 version, then they suddendly changed their minds because football is always profitable.
Why don't we just all agree that all big publishers are cunts and get it over with. EA, Activision, Steam, Ubisoft - they all add crappy DRM to their games where you rely on a client or activation to play, and all their games will refuse to run in X years from now. In my book, that makes them all jack asses.
EA is in the seminfinals again, already having crushed Facebook, AT&T and InBev.
Now its up against Ticketmaster and if it wins it will duel BoA or Comcast.
It isn't the worst company there but it completely deserves all the shit that comes with that award.
But as seen in their pathetic statement by derper moore LGBT hat0rz are to blame for this award, of course.
Just like last year it were the people that liked happy endings since ME3's was so controversial (read: fucking stupid and mostly devoid of any logic).
So they haven't learned shit, as it was expected, and will continue fucking up and probably (and fortunately for the other shit companies in there) keep winning this award in the upcoming years.

Heard that there are a lot worse companies participating in there, so it's a shame that EA will win.
Hehe true. Gamers own the internet though, so it's an inevitable result. Bank of America is pure evil as well, has one of the worst track records of any bank ever (something like 20k+ official complaints), but these numbers pale if compared to the multitude of EA's pissed off consumers these days.
