Description:
The multiplayer mayhem and single-player shenanigans are spread over five themed zones - Jurassic, Camelot, Arabian, Construction and Wild West – and, throughout the enlarged landscapes, the entirely destructible scenery works with even greater effect, along with the much-loved worms' armoury - now with an even bigger choices of weapons and fun along the way.

In single-player modes there’s even more beyond the day-to-day business of destroying worms. Through the 25 missions, you’re also charged with objectives such as recovering items or smashing scenery. All the single-player maps are available to play in multiplayer mode, along with a further set of 20 multiplayer-specific maps.

With bold levels, an improved 3D camera and animation system, a stunning arsenal delivering comedy kabooms, the loveable, customisable, yet entirely destructible, worms are back in force with Worms 4: Mayhem.

how does this one differ from the last outing which i thought was shite.


As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

yes was thinking the same.

has any1 played the new one and feel like comparing the two in a small mini review maybe!? plz!?

if they took the fun gameplay from the old with new gfx i would be all up for this, but if its like last one ill PASS!

It doesn't have the building castles to make better weapons crappola that the other one had. Instead it's just straight worms 3D but with better, funnier weapons and environments. You can build a factory if you want faster weapons upgrades but you don't have to have this like you did in the last one. The graphics are a little improved on "Forts under Seige", but it's still hard to get a good perspective when looking around and the same old movement bugs are still there. All in all though, good game and 2000% better than the last one.

PS... Does anyone else have incredibly slow load times for this game. Am running it from the HD and still about as slow as Men of Valor was (slowest game load on the Xbox to date).

I didn't notice any loading time issue. This game is just like other Worm 3D games out earlier. Why can't they do a Snail 3D? Snail was awesome on palmOS.

I'm having a load time issue, plus snails is just a rip off of worms anyway
