When you exit, it saves automatically then. Not sure how it handles if you're in the middle of a dungeon or not, though.

I would just go ahead and stick the points in whatever interests you, especially the passives.

I'm guessing that by next week, we'll have mods that will allow full respec. I don't really like how TL2 handles respec points. No real good detailed descriptions on the skills, so it's almost a guessing game.

I hate this game. I haven't been able to do anything else on my PC since I started play it. FU Runic Games, and your addictive game.

Oh, and Prismatic Bolt FTW. Level 20 at the moment, and it's my only active skill, except for Hailstorm.

i hope a mod can make the maps a bit smaller, i feel the maps are purposely large for gameplay longevity. They should be 50% smaller , to much walking and scouring of map edges to find to little events. I cleared all maps till act4 now, and they seriously are just to big, pretty much all of them.

Act2 was pretty lackluster compared to act1. Just like Diablo 2 and 3... why do they always make the desert levels chock full of annoying enemies?

At the start of act3 though and my faith is redeemed.

@pickupartist... fuck off Smile love the randomly generated, spread out areas.

So wanted to try LAN with my gf, we are trying it with Torchlight.II-RELOADED.
But in both cases we get Connection failed, no matter who creates a game.

Is it possible to log in safely into Torchlight 2 using a perfect world account using Torchlight.II-RELOADED?
Perhaps that way we can create an internet game together and see how that is.

If that works out and it's actually fun, we would probably buy it (which is rare haha).
Torchlight 1 sure was a blast solo.

To respec more than the paltry 3 points: Edit settings.txt in /save/<numbers> folder, set Console to 1. Then in-game, press insert to open console and enter resetskills Smile

Great game. I took engineer with healing bot, shield build with passive abilities (damage absorptions )and it's been great so far. Only bad thing is that almost all of the cool weapons i have found so far (like legendary ones) are not for my class. Bummer.

Yeah I got one too, was called Loudspeaker.
(A mid-range cannon, there's a few others with similar appearance and naming but lower and higher leveled.)

Window's firewall is blocking the connection. Had the same issue just a few minutes ago. Allow the outcoming and incoming connections (on both computers) for Torchlight and you should be fine Smile

At this point you should wait for open beta which will probably be around November and until then enjoy TII Smile Also, you'll be blown away by how much they improved PoE if it was months ago since you last played it Very Happy

I got my legendary axe from gambling. Named "Ultimatum". It took me around 100k gold to finally get something nice. Usually it was just a money sink till now. i got better items from throwing dynamite into fishing pond than from gambling.

But, now it finally payed off. Wink

we are just old, and hack n slash games are just boring in general, last really good hns was titan quest

d3 had good story ( bet everyone will disagree , even if you wanted to seewhat happens next ) and good combat
what does tl2 have ? everything apart story, great if only we needed another meaningless farming game, and to think how many days i spent playing d2 and similar,

took my 20 mins or less to get bored of tl2 its a game without a soul, without a purpose , its aaa game, so is cod, sims and many ohers, doesnt make them good either.

or maybe its just my tastes, for proper rpgs, and simulation rts/rpgs , civ, total war, m&b, sins, paradox games, but those are so few,and played so many times ;/
