Far Cry 3 is the gaming equivalent of a Rambo movie (or any action film from the 80s/early 90s), cheesy dialogues are the beauty of it!
Give me freedom, solid shooting, good AI, explosions (in a totally non Michael Bay-esque way) and I'm happy. Hell, if you want deep dialogues and story there's PS:T/any other good old school RPG waiting for you

Far Cry 2 was ruined by the super human AI (lack of stealth gameplay) and the stupid quick respawn enemy checkpoints. If they sorted these 2 elements alone, Far Cry 3 could be epic.

I agree. Let's see if they learn from their mistakes.

So I guess they're using a 64-bit exe with that RAM requirement?
(Or maybe they meant 4 GB for the game and 4 for the OS, ha ha.)
EDIT: And I guess it's using DX10 as minimum unless it's just weirdly worded.

So compared to your old x86 (32bit) machine, SB/IB ain't "next gen"?
And yes, they can't use more then 3GB, you can have more in it tho, but only uses 3GB (not exactly 3GB ofc)
Must be a processor BEFORE the Athlon series then what you have...

I just didn't feel we advanced that much,I bought my current machine more then 3 years a go,and still can run all games,at decent graphics (and I'm quite skeptical I won't be able to run FC3 as well despite the 4GB Ram riq),maybe it's because the trend on focusing on consoles,if I'm to buy and new one,it will be at least more 3/4 years from now

4GB is the bare minimum these days tho, around 8GB is standard.
Why don't you get yourself atleast 6GB?! It only sets you back around €35,- or so and will make you last a few years again.

I didn't saw any game using 4GB at minimum.. and like I said, why to use more GB Ram if I can't really use it? if I found I will really be the case,I will upgrade, and it will most likely be on Windows 8 64x

I'm not talking about a game, i'm talking about the whole usage in general.
Here on a 1 year old install with a few chrome tabs open and steam and such running in background
Put a game ontop of that and they will come close to my 8GB when i'm playing on full graphics.
The thing is that your 260 can't handle games at max graphics anymore (atleast not on 1080p with full AA), so you maybe don't use that much ram as others.

It all sounds like inexplicable gibberish to me, but as long as the PC version is the better looking one, yay.
