Obviously a trailer for the derps with lots of explosions, but then again you could have done the same in previous games if you wanted.

I'm glad the sword is back, I missed it so much in HBM and Contracts. Sad

Agreed. What is important in this game (and the previous) is the freedom to choose how you accomplish a mission. It remains to be seen exactly how free you'll be in this one. I'm hopeful though..

Debated on Epic thread for this post, but I thought it would fit here as well.

This was probably the best alternate version I've ever heard of Ave Maria.

This totally soothes AND gets the adrenaline going for some Hitman action.

Someone who understands my pain Sad

You can thank the likes of COD for spreading that crap. Not that it matters to most I guess.

I really miss Red Storm :\ Back when models held guns properly, used the right terms. I cringed every time I was dead on BF3 and saw models using their support hand to support the firearm by holding onto the magazine O___O Easy way to get yourself killed if you do that in real life -.-

Some screens.
(Mostly action oriented, Agent 47 also looks like he has some burn marks on him.)

You mean the back of his head? That's just because during the course of the game he removes the barcode tattoo, probably by removing part of his skin as well.

Actually (Though I have wondered about that thing too.) I meant on his arm and on his suit. Smile

Arm.

And the screen above shows the suit pretty well but here's another one.

EDIT: Wonder what would happen if he scanned that bar code anyway, I know it opened some doors in the first game at the end level.

Either there is some tracker embedded there or it is a symbolic thing i.e removing his tattoo to show he's cutting ties with The Agency.

JB, that could either be burn marks like you're suggesting or they could be extra skin/texture definition IO must have given Agent 47 and the lighting is making it seem that way.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Glad to see the pushing is still in. Very Happy

EDIT: C'mon, they removed the fuckin suitcase? Now 47 just grabs a sniper rifle from his suit. Laughing

And it seems they removed the bullet wounds from 47 when he's shot, which is a weird decision since there is a lot of blood in this game (ie if you stab a guy with a screwdriver his whole body is covered with it)

From the Q&A near the end of the vid:

Quote:
The suitcase is not a part of Hitman: Absolution. It's not to say it's not a part of the franchise any more, t's just that we really wanted to create a more improvised, more "movie feeling" instalment if you will, because at the heart of it 47 doesn't really know what happened, he's starting to question a lot of things, and he needs to figure out quite desperately who's this girl that he's charged to protect by Diana, who you'll know if you know the franchise. So we felt that it would fit the nature of the game better. Much of the time he's in the environments that he didn't pre-plan, and that he doesn't know that well, whereas in the old games you really got down to the detailed descriptions of the hits you were going to perform.
