i resolved it myself if you get steam needs running if you want to play borderlands 2 it's because you are running shortcut launcher.exe made new shortcut to the cracked.exe and now i didn't receive this message

Wouldn't bet on it. I think it was Darksiders 2 that gave me "corrupt save" when I tried that |
Cracked/Steam saves are usually interchangeable, Darksiders and Darksiders 2 are unique since it stores the randomised folder ID inside the save file itself -- you can fix it with hex editing though. |
That's how BL2 saves folder looks like: \My Games\Borderlands 2\WillowGame\SaveData\76561198002578311 Any indication it's the same case as in Darksiders 1/2?

you just need to download the English audio separately.

I haven't gotten around to playing BL2 yet, so I couldn't say for certain. In DS you had to hex edit the save and match it to the pair-reversed number in the folder name.

Gah, I'll just test it out myself. Gonna start new profile/character in Skid release, then fire up VPN and check in legit copy if the save works. Gonna let you know guys in an hour or two.

It's preferable that you do.
I just fired up SR's release and heard claptrap's voice in the main menu screen while being grabbed by a large tentacle. Don't know how indicative is that to the further audio behaviour of characters since am too lazy to start a playthrough.  |

Can I use the crack with the Bought steam version? Just wondering cause I want to be in online mode and still be able to play the game. Oh and get the steam achievements.

Well you can use it - but then it will be nonSteam due to the crack and you won't get proper online access or achievements. Tunngle should work for LAN/IP online though.

I used a crack for Skyrim. I had bought a russian key so I had use a VPN all the time to play it. With that crack I still needed steam running, but I could play without VPN and still got achievements.

Been playing the cracked version for about 1 hour now, and it is very good! Everything that I loved about the first one is is alot better, deeper and more beautiful! The feeling from the guns are better, the distinction between revolver and pistol is clearer (rovelvers are actually fired like a revolver with one hand on the hammer). The environments so far are really good looking and interesting, and very big. Bigger already than most of the environment-hubs in borderlands 1.
Hopefully it is easy to add the audio-files from the skidrow release into this one, when they are done!

I don't know why it works, but it does. I didn't use the the steam_api file, just a cracked .exe file.

I've been reading and watching the reviews and this game seems to be a whole lot improved over the first one. Now I'll wait for you fellow humpers to post a review about playing the campaign solo (no co-op) so I can decide if I'll give it a chance.
