not really surprising all this shit, i mean this was the first game on steam that you couldnt buy it as a gift in russia right?, that was a clue something weird was about to happen in the future

Loloz, it was ok, but adding such a lod of restrictions in the last 3 days before game will be playable is a dickass move at best.
When i bought the game, it said nothing about being russiang language only, region multiplayer restricted and all that stuff. Also it seems i do not have season pass i bought on my account anymore.
What.the.duck.
I don't even have enough money right now to prepurchase international version, since they won't refund anywhere except steam wallet, cause i've paid via russian payment system and not directly via my cc

Things like that are never listed when the game becomes available to purchase because publishers in their infinite stupidity never anticipate that people will try to look for loopholes and exploit low prices in some regions.

Just a couple of days from release  I didn't buy the game but still it's very rage inducing, as of now I am getting quite nervous with my pre-order of XCOM. What if they do the same with it  |

Totally. If same shit happens to XCOM preorder - 2kGames will get no purchases from me. Idk what're they thinking.
Right now you can still buy season pass in Russian steam, but it won't work with Russian Borderlands 2 version, which is also selling on steam.
Am i the only person who thinks this is TOO fucked up?

We've been through this several times already. To pirate derpbox 360 game you need to use a PC. So it's still PC piracy killing the industry  |
But then again to make the game in the first place you need a pc so no pc == no games, we would be stuck at Pong. |

It's a pass for the DLCs which will be developed/released in the following year. It's not a pass for a percentage of the game.

I don't know quite well,I haven't followed any news for this game.But in the beginning of development it wasn't steamwork for sure.I don't know the last situation...

so. do local characters work online too ? and are they saved on locally ? because for me, two things killed multiplayer in borderlands 1
1. gamespy, being shit, i remember only being able to join every 5th game, of the 10 that were visible at a time ;D plus almost nobody joined my games
2. and ofcourse the ability to hack the shit out of your character because it was saved locally, people ruined many of my sessions this way
only upside was obviously being able to play the cracked version online

Your first concern is fixed. . . using steamworks this time around.
2nd concern not so much. Still stored locally. Thats why i play with friends and nto random peeps.
