Inferno is fun for a while, because at level 60 you are getting guaranteed rares. But after a while i got bored with finding the same old shit. Even if you find a good rare its nothing more than enhanced damage and a main stat boost. Unless you win the lottery and get a uber legendary.

its by no means a bad game. its just that .. it doesnt have that "it" factor that d2 had. And sure the long time motivation from said d2 either. But the time played was well worth the money spent.

I wouldnt mind it at all if I were still playing.
Last time I played was months ago, had Diablo on farm status but can't be arsed to be super concentrated to dodge every fart of death that moves towards my character if I didn't have to.
Farming is a brain-dead activity anyway, so what's wrong with making it easier?

I thought LoH ended up being fairly worthless endgame? When you have 60k HP, getting back 500HP per hit isn't likely to help much, is it? Or has all that changed now?

Not for a WD with around 1k Loh. Using Acid Cloud (Cause acid to rain down, dealing an initial 100% weapon damage as Poison, followed by 75% weapon damage as Poison over 3 seconds to enemies who remain in the area.) will heal you to full almost instantly if it hits a few enemies. Of course you need more than 40mana regen for it to be viable, since you'll need to spam it a bit. It's pretty OP honestly. That's what I used to finish the game back when i was still playing it.

Go for two weapons... And look for LOH on your offhand weapon, so it doesn't have to be that good in damage, around 700-ish should be enough, and it should have your primary stat on it... On your primary weapon aim for damage, stat, and crit damage.

That feature should be shipped at the release and not year later, and the game has been in development since 2001, there is no excuse.
and I bet it will still come as DLC.
