Islam is under attack by western influences, ideas of freedom, secularity and female rights, all threats against Islam and Allah. This is enough for most islamist organisations to interpret the verses in the quran and accompanying hadith that since Islam is under attack, Jihad bis saif is righteous and every muslims must fight for Islam.
It's not the muslims that are the problem, it's the islamist elements within muslims populations that manipulate and enforce their rigid "protection of Islam against the kufr" that must be dealt with.
At one point, a certain muslim country was relaxed in it's rules, dogmas and tenets and there were virtually no veils or hijabs except among old women. Then political change happened and the radicalisation process commenced to the point where sharia was suddenly incorporated into the laws, religion became a necessity and religious police started to assert islamic cultural traits against it's population to "whip" them into "true muslims".
Islam is being used as a political and ideological tool to control the masses, and they lift certain ugly parts in the quran and hadith that promote hatred towards the west since the west is non-muslim, aka Dar-al-Harb (House of War, ie. non-muslim countries with no religious agreements).
Using religion to control a country, it's culture and it's people is a powerful tool and have been used for millennia. What is most annoying is that the new islamic awakening seems to have been triggered by US (and it's little bootlickers) securing oil resources after certain countries asserted themselves for their own natural resources.
By igniting the middle east and northern Africa and parts of Asia (in that region) the neighbouring countries as well as Europe has been overwhelmed by muslim immigrants way beyond the ability to handle the numbers and the cultural differences...
And here we are today, with hatred from all sides, terrorists, hate crimes (look at greece, a neonazi joke these days), segregation, radicalisation among muslim youth, the formation of EDL as an opposing force etc...
Meanwhile US is still sitting on the biggest stockpile of oil reserves in the world which is basically what it's all about.

Ah yes...that second video explains it perfectly "you should support democrats because obviously the only reason people do is because of public education and 'liberal media' brainwashing them".
Closed minded, ignorant, blanket statements said out of misunderstanding or failure to comprehend that other outlooks are valid, so it must be a forced decision based on militaristic drilling of them into someones head..
Thats where I closed it..about 10 seconds in.
I don't support either side..but pigeonholing and entire side of a debate into "people only support it because they was dumb enough to be brainwashed" as a valid dismissal of said side is ignorant to start with.
Know what BOTH that videos remind me of? the old 1900's 'blackface' characters...making a section of people look bad by avoiding the actual people, and just making a extreme caricature of some traits they have to portray them in a bad light to the other uneducated watching it..
The irony of a video showing how uneducated one side is..being told by the other side showing inadvertently how uneducated they are..
The old "we don't know how to fix it...so in the mean time let me show you how the other side know how to fix it LESS than us"
Nothing more than a mirror of the political debates of the candidates..not talking about what they CAN do to fix things...but spend most the time going "Look how bad the other side is! I mean compared to them..we are pretty damn good!"
To me when your basis of how well you can do it is founded on point out how you dont suck AS BAD as the other guys...still means you suck..just higher on the 'sucking' ladder according to you.

No...Ill find a guy that doesn't need to belittle the competition to make his merits of qualifications sound better to start with.
So if you got some videos showing answers to these problems, and not just showing how one side views how wrong the other is on the problems...who cares?

imo people should focus more on the issues and what they want to do about them, rather then if a person is a liberal or conservative, left or right.
No one is right all the time and through debates we can iron out the issues that our diffrent societies face, instead of locking ourselves into positions.
How is this connected to liberals at all, all it shows is an obnoxious person going against anything the other states.
Technically you could portray a conservative in exactly the same manner if it was the liberal pointing out the subjects.
This is pretty idiotic, I agree with many liberal aspects but with many conservative ones aswell, I sincerely hope you educate yourself.

I totally agree..having parties for politics is silly to me..it gives people a 'side' to choose, and point at the other side.
If there was no parties..people would have to stand and make judgement on the actual standings and remarks of the candidates themselves..not just go 'well Im demo/repub..so I support whatever they are going for despite the view things I disagree with".
It makes it too easy to ignore a problem on a stance, when its almost a religious zeal to 'stand by your side you choose'.
It appeals too much to the "pack' mentality humans have...to find a pack and run with it..even if that packs ideals aren't yours..you feel you are 'part of something'.
Screw the pack...make each 'pack leader' be viewed on his stance alone..not on which pack he says he likes to get brownie points.
Both those videos are SO full of strawman arguments..they just need a tinman and loin to help her get back to kansas...
