It might be, but let's stop focusing on something that existed in the real world long before some books from the 90s. Might just be me hoping it's not some generic fantasy setting based on books, though.
Oh well, hopefully it's PC exclusive, so we might actually get an RPG for once. Obsidian's Kickstarter project, perhaps?

Gotta say that i love Obsidian games, but they tend not to finish the gameplay properly. Hopefully they'll make a better effort with their current games in development. But ye, most likly day 1 buys for me, obsidian games that is.

Dungeon Siege 4 would be the most obvious choice but an original IP would be my first guess.
