As some of you know, there is a million dollar waiting for anyone who can demonstrate supernatural abilities, the effectiveness of homeopathy and other contentious issues under observed and scientifically controlled conditions. It is offered by the James Randi Educational Foundation for any kind of paranormal event.

It is important part of the challenge that both parties agree to all testing procedures and are rigorously carried out. After almost 50 years, still no takers, and not for the lack of trying.

Of course, they have been accused of fraud, unwillingness to award the prize, rigging of the tests, negative skeptical energies influencing the procedures, etc. After watching dozens of people blaming the judges on American Idol for their own terrible voices...you decide the merits of these accusations.

During the recent TAM (The Amazing Meeting) in Las Vegas, one of these tests were carried out on stage in front of a whole audience of skeptical people. The test was about a microchip claimed to improve the strength and balance of people who wear bracelets that have this chip in them.

Enjoy.

Why wouldn't they? There are people who still think the world is flat after all. Very Happy
