why ?
i'm not playing right now, but i played right after the latest patch. now is a decent game, and miles in front 90% of games i played in the last 2-3 years. (all games. not h&s)
if you start playing right now you have all the chances to be addicted.
to bad i played since beginning.

People who haven't even bought the game are circlejerkin calling it super bad and failure of the century and whatnot while having other people who also haven't played it agreeing with them.
It's really pathetic.
Game isn't awesome but it sure as hell ain't fail. Get over it you noobz. You couldn't play it pirated so you started hating it.

Derp80 strikes again. I loved the game so much i decided to give it away after two weeks of disconnections, downtime, character and progress losses and hacking.
But yeah, only people who never played it don't like it. And only people who payed for it have a right to complain.

Its a decent game. Just a terrible diablo game. It's a lot of fun in normal and nightmare.. but you can tell that was the extent of their.. not so extensive testing.
In a loot porn game you NEED TO GET LOTTA LOOT.
Not have to use a shitty gold auction house where everything costs 10 billion gold thanks to people buying gold with money farmed with bots.

Grats, i wasn't talking about you. Sure there's some that criticise it that also bought it but the majority of haters haven't bought it nor played it.
See DARKLOLOLIM for the perfect example of a hater.
The point was also (in case you missed it, i'm sure you did) that it's not the fail of the decade. Might not be the best game ever made, but to call it a fail of the decade is just going max-hate mode on it.

And yes, it is the fail of the decade (2012, remember?) and it's also a fail in comparison to pretty much every other aRPG. Titan Quest looks down on D3 and just smiles and shakes its head slowly.

I never liked Titan Quest, but even Torchlight 1 shits on D3. I am saying this with over 70 hours played in D3.

The most hyped and anticipated PC game... ever... and people were expecting a great game!? oh noez!! Those elitist bastards!! The fact is, people paid top dollar for the game and got something broken in return, almost half a dozen patches later and it finally resembles something that it should have shipped as.

It is true they didnt live up for the hype but i bet you can name some top dollar games that are way worst than d3 and you finish in alot less hours!
Its true they launched it broken and its no escuse for that.. but at least they will fix it and make it worth playing even if it is later on..
I really did like the gameplay of the game.. it was really fun and beside that make some money isnt it good?
Edit: if we look in the prespective that its a blizzard game.. sequel to diablo 2.. the hype around the game.. i have to fully agree with sabin.. it fail to deliver.

what's all the complains? game is great and i would say awesome. a game that makes me in a short time, sitting more than 30 hours playing it. and i want more.
about the complains of the loot, im sure its gonna be fixed.
about the derpness of the story, well... it can't, but im confident that they put more content or a proper expansion.
my other complain is the ridicously amount of money you have to put in your blacksmith in order to obtain proper items (the more you make an item, the better stats you get).

Apparently I didn't buy the game the 2 days after release day and put over 100 cumulative hours into the game through all patches.
Yes, the game fucking sucks.
