Infinity was enabled in my area several months ago but my landlords won't upgrade even though the price is the same as our current 20Mb package.
It's even worse that BT send us letters every week teasing me that 70Mb is available

Why not pay it yourself and use it. And then landlord will be jelly.

They say unlimited but even the 'unlimited' packages for BT Infinity 'unlimited' have a hidden 200GB a month cap. Once you hit 200GB or somewhere around there you get throttled to under 10mbps for the rest of the month.
The only reason i've stuck with Virgin 100mbps is simply because they have a prime-time hour cap of only 15GB. However, I only get throttled down to 50mbps for the rest of the night. So i've got at least 50mbps no matter how much I download.

My ISP said that I'll have new packages available, so I might see 5 Mbps or even 10 Mbps download

200gb I can cope with, I doubt I'd use that much in one month tbh. Yeah I really miss my virgin package. Just isn't available in my area so btw infinity is my only option.

Fuck shitty economy, I'd leave that country if I had such slow internet for more than a month It took me one month to get 32MBit (now 64), life is just not the same without highspeed internet

ISP I am with announced new tariff plans, my connection got upgraded but price remained the same.
20 Mbit /s DOWN / 10 Mbit / s UP --> 30 Mbit /s DOWN / 15 Mbit / s UP
for ≈ $15 / month
Also, they improved speed boosting thingy. Connection is temporary upped to 80 / 40 Mbit /s
1 Hour ≈ $0.2
3 Hours ≈ $0.4
6 Hours ≈ $0.6
Price is per activation.
I am happy and my penis grew larger, I measured him with a ruler

No no no, currently I'm the one with the slowest internet:
-.-"
You see why 5-10 seems like crazy speed to me?
