Whatever expensive means for a home console system and whatever is expensive is for a console in Kutagaris eyes.

Sony just have to follow M$, don't they? What happened to the engine used in Killzone 2? I thought that was going to become Sony's killer app...
Anyway, PS3 is probably gonna be US $500-600, which means almost double the price of an Xbox 360. That might put M$ way ahead of Sony... in the sales department.

i was kidding with the £800 price point, but it'll be alot more than the xbox360 i bet, even Kutaragi states it'll be the most expensive home console ever released and i doubt if Sony will be willing to make a large profit cut on launch just so they can match xbox360 price and we all know that MS will most prob drop the price even further to make a bigger widening of the two when PS3 is launched 1 year later after xbox360 here in UK. Also think that having a 10year lifespan isn't good as no doubt MS will release the xbox 720 (lol) in the usual 5 year console lifesapn probably making the PS3 even less appealing.
hoping that i wrong though but again just lets wait and see but atm things not looking to great atm and remember no console has ever won no1 console 3 times in a row

10years is kickass. Every console shuld last that long, or close to it.
And for sure now with the ps3 and the xbox360 when graphics already are absolutley brilliant. Graphics have come to a point where graphical improvements basicly means 0, in my opinion.

How about the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer.
This went for $700(US).
I don't think the Neo.Geo was that expensive. But I do remember that the games when they came out where $200(US) a piece.

The only gaming system that is worth $700 is a PC.
If you hate it, ignore it.
