This game is going to be shit since its not even the full thing. Those lazy fuckers. No point in releasing this shit. I am not looking forward to playing half a 10 year old game.

So i dont get it.
Why would anyone want to play a game and then it won't have an ending? Why are they releasing the ending later down the road? How is this fun?
When I play a game, I hope for a solid ending, although most of the time thats hard to delivery, but at least there is an ending..
Why will this not include an ending... Am I missing something?

@Daman: officially it's because Xen is going to basically be a complete game (not just an epilogue) and according to the devs it’ll be pretty well expanded. 
The real reason is that they didn't manage to finish their project in time so they preferred to release something instead of making us wait till 2016.

Thank god this thing is free. I really believe its going to get a lot of bad reviews and people are going to start regretting actually playing it. I don't think I am going to waste my bandwidth on this piece of crap.

Well, since it reached it's greenlit status first in the world (after like 2 days) it will be distributed through steam. However, I think it will take some time for Valve to set it up correctly and get achievements and stuff working properly. It would be really nice if it was merged with the SDK so it was simply a complete playable downloadable game.
And yes, I definitely think the printout on a good printer will give a pretty good result. And as Sabin I much prefer the second one.
It's a major PR-win for Valve as well. They really should have given the team a lot more support and perhaps bring it in-house (but then it would probably cost money).
