Pad for melee/driving/running, mouse for aiming and shooting. IMO.

With the 1.5 patch mouse controls should be improved a lot as long as you enable the raw input in the menu. I said "should" because doesn't work for me, and basically both the 1.4 and 1.5 versions are identical (except for the camera which is shaking less than before). I never asked for this

I still got control problems when trying shoot from cover holding left shift. My gun does not fire and i hear a strange beep sound.

Yep, but it's likely those were keys from stolen retail boxes. That's why you need to check the reputation ofcd key sites you wanna buy from (no matter if they're russian or not).

Except for the shooting the game played awesome with my Rumblepad2. The fighting specially felt much much better with the gamepad (I tried the kb/m setup).
