Nice to see this.
So Valve has still optimizations to do, because it was 128 MB on steam. ^^

Also I just watched "Internal Affairs" and "Election 1 & 2" movies : Holly hell what a blast !
Highly recommended Wink

You mean Infernal Affairs (which is a trilogy, btw).

Yeah, the asian cinema is quite good, starting with the nineties (not talking about Japan - already had good directors at the time, but Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, South Korea)

Sleeping.Dogs-SKIDROW + Sleeping.Dogs.v1.5.Update-SKIDROW = good?

Tried the same but it didn't work for me, the game doesn't start at all. No error messages whatsoever. Then I applied the 1.4 3DM crack and the game starts fine, but I haven't played yet because 1.5 files with a 1.4 executable probably won't work well.
I'm waiting for a proper 1.5 crack, enjoying the walking dead episode 3 anyway Smile

If anyone has the same problem, you need to install the official Steam client and then it works fine with the Skidrow crack.

yes it works, but lol, these releases should be nuked. crack can't require you to have steam installed.

Looks like the raw mouse option doesn't want to work for me (SKIDROW version + SKIDROW update 1.5), enabling/disabling it doesn't make any difference. Oh well, it's more than playable anyway, although not perfect.

ixi i think in the changelog they specified that only certain mouses/mice would be compatible with raw output.

Quick question, although I rather suspect the answer is no. I'm using the Skidrow release with the 1.5 update and Lumaemu to be able to access all the DLC's, works like a charm. What I'm wondering is does anyone know if there is a way to access the mission replay function or is it solely reliant on the Social Hub part of the game being accessible?

the answer is yes, you can still go the social hub and replay missions even without being connected

Oh, I see. It says "bla bla.. responsiveness and accuracy on supported mice." Though I find really odd that a common mouse like the MX518 isn't supported. Razz

I guess it's dependent on hardware or maybe drivers, Logitech SetPoint has a setting for overriding OS mouse control with it's own system albeit Raw instead of Direct Input is probably not quite the same. Very Happy

Though I would have thought that all mice could work directly with the software without needing the Direct Input wrapping but what do I know. Razz
(It's not a PS2 mouse is it? ha ha well I guess those are finally being entirely replaced along with ball mice.)

EDIT: Man imagine if GPU's could do the same, no need for all that layers of API's and the OS or driver variations just direct performance. Very Happy
(Thus the quality of the console hardware I guess, or rather one of the reasons it's still managing albeit with more and more sacrifices it seems.)

Raw input stopped working for me too. I mean the mouse doesn't work anymore in the actual game and the map, but other than that it does. It's weird. I had this happening with Source games too. Then it started working again.

Good to know, thanks Smile Means I don't need to worry about missing those last two Jade statues when the time comes.

The areas are open as well so you should always be able to return later and grab it, although I believe they're all featured in one mission or another, usually but not exclusively on the triad / main story path.

EDIT: And yeah like all other collectibles they have this light pulse emanating from them making them kinda noticeable even from far away.
(I could see a health shrine from the other side of a harbor in one instance, they're kinda difficult to miss but even the little cases are noticeable due to this.)

Naw JB mate, the last two statues can't be collected after the mission - only ON the mission - but luckily they're impossible to miss.

The weirdest thing is, I'm not even using the Setpoint software, it's just..not supported I guess. Odd. Smile

Oh trust me, spotting things has generally not been an issue Smile Getting to where the hell some of them are has proven interesting though. Whilst the light pulse does help, part of me does feel that it takes away from the feeling of immersion in the game which is a shame because it feels so alive and real when you're travelling around.

Replaying missions to get triad 10 level, just looked at the global statistics for missions and WTF !? I get a 1200 points (full meter), and someone has 100 000. Cheats or are there some hidden multipliers I'm not aware of?

Can you play after the last mission is over? To finish off the races and scavanger hunts?

Yes, you can. I've been doing that and without the last mission (where you get tons of Triad XP) I achieved level 10.

so the latest 1.5 skidrow crack requires steam, just like the old broken crack for hitman sniper challenge? Also, if I have the dlc pack w/ the lumaemu emulator thing, do I need steam installed for it work? Thanks
