How the fuck do you accomplish something like this? 128x128 textures everywhere, with some dumb normal maps that I've never seen... (Optimized as shit tho)

You need to download the HD texture pack! You can find it on the Ubisoft website, they released it for free, only for the PC version!

With a good compression, they could make them at least 512x512...Still, I like how the character says at beginning "I wonder if my apartment is still there" No, it fucking moved in the other side of town.

Which is just fucking bizarre and massively counter-productive. It's been 2GB since 2009 and they seriously need to upgrade that shit pronto.

Yup, it's an evolution of the same engine that powered the Splinter Cell titles and LEAD, as it came to be known, was used in Conviction too.

sorry been up for two days, im literally zombified right now.
edit: just a side not, i7 8 gigs of dominator ram and gtx 580, this rins at 40fps, and this much post process even makes syndicate blush

Getting over 60 on my GTX470 and Phenom 940. Quite surprised how well it's running for an ubi game tbh.

Can't check settings for sure at the minute but high with 8xAA and 1680x1050 res, driver 301.42
