Just discovered that my parents housekeeper has been stealing stupid shit from me. Over the last couple months I've notice my flash drives disappearing so before she came this week I left one out and the shit vanished again and she or her daughter was the only one who could have taken it, she literally stole every flash drive I own. At first I thought it was her daughter who helps her but in talking to her tonight she slipped up and said some shit that makes me think it was her. She's sopost to call back tomorrow and tell what her daughter said but I'm pretty sure shes the one. I don't get it stealing flash drives that had nothing but movies on them. Hope it was worth it cause shes gonna get fired tomorrow.

lol I doubt she would do anything now that she has been confronted and I don't have anymore to steal they are all gone. As far as I can tell it was only me she was stealing from just makes no sense cause I'm the nicest person I know.

well i suppose you could take a gamble and tell her you know it was her, and youll have her fired and reported to the cops unless she returns them.
you may get lucky and she returns them and youll have proof. but regardless if she does or doesnt, she gets fired anyway.

It's just a shitty situation because she's been our house cleaner for several years and I'm not the type of person to cause more trouble than is needed as they are just flash drives after all. she's gonna be out alot of money when she losses this gig because we also have her husband do our lawns at the house and the office where my mother works, she cleans that as well. And if she goes the husband loses his gig as well. I will be very surprised if she admits anything.

Human eye is imperfect as well as the brain, but the camera don't lie. What you need is a setup have a cleverly hidden camera record your table or wherever they're stealing from, then you can use it as blackmail have her return everything or you'll call the police.

You have in your power to get all they've stolen back. Don't say you don't like to create more fuzz because this is all the housekeepers doing. Maybe she stole it for her husband or son if she has one, but that's irrelevant. You said you don't like being stolen from and it's a matter of principle. You pay for her and she steals from you, confront her like chiv suggested and i bet she'll cave. What you do after doesn't matter, she won't steal from you again if you decide to give her another chance.

Wut? another chance? if someone steals from you and they confess, another chance? OUT i dont like people doing right out of pressure. Steal once and you will do again eventually unless your situation gets a lot better

And she has been confronted about it and she pretty much claimed ignorance and said she would call today to let us know what her daughter said. And as of right now I can't really threaten about the police because I have no real evidence that she took them just that they have been disappearing after they came. I should of set up a camera but did not think of it. Oh and she will not get another chance the main reason we thought it was her daughter is because she got caught messing with my mom's computers at her office, and as a result from that she's banned from there, but since there was never any known issue at the house she was still allowed here. My parents are completely on my side and it looks like no matter what she will not be back because as was said if they will steal from you once they will do it again.
