then i'd highly recommend crafting quelaags furysword
either that or go to the hard entrance to blighttown (through the depths), do the long jump near the entrance and pick up iaito and begin to level it as much as you can (absolutely god weapon if you have dext)
remember with dext weapons dont go into lightning etc, stay at +15
you'll kill stuff so quickly in normal game it's ridiculous
ornstein and smough will always be difficult due to the design but bosses that are normally hard like gravelord nito, 4 kings will become run in and just throw as much damage out as possible inbetween eating estus flasks
for 4 kings all i have to do is equip havels gear (picked up from chests in anor londo) run at them and none stop hammer damage into them

Yeah I agree a gamepad is probably easier to use than the vanilla mouse implementation. I'm running DaS PC thru an XIME tho, which completely fixes the mouselook and X/Y issues. It's not exactly a cheap solution but I will do ANYTHING to avoid gamepads, and Dark Souls PC does feel about as accurate as Half-Life 2 with it.

well you could keep the claymore for the catacombs as you'll need a divine weapon to keep the skeletons dead and pick up the zweihander easily bring it to lightning
or you could be a fuckin' boss and make greatsword of artorias (awful weapon but cool as shit)

lightning is bad for that sword
you get it to +15 and it's one of the hardest hitting weapons in the game, also one of the quickest with the coolest animations.. the amount of damage you can deal with that sword is INSANE as it scales retardedly good

Isn't the Uchigatana better?

You can also get that weapon really early in the game if you don't mind killing that one merchant but he doesn't offer much of use.
(Apparently he used to be the only source of Lloyd's Talisman which has a few uses both in PvP and normal game but there's another merchant in the Royal Forest - Prepare to Die expansion - whom also sells them though you can further kill him too for his armor.)
EDIT: Ah the Uchigatana slashes and thrusts whereas the above only slashes, would probably be a bit faster if so and leave the player less open maybe.
EDIT: Also this has quickdraw attack.

iaito has the option to kick (i belive uchi doesnt not 100% as ive only used iaito)
it doesnt matter as they're both good it's just preference, i like to pvp so I prefer to leave the merchant alive as lloyds talisman can be very very vital

i just did blighttown and was very very laggy there and now im in the bonfire in the sewer near the poision water.sorry for being little angry today,just got pissed until i found a tactic to beat the fats one(left them to fall).the little red rats were the most powerful shits there.so anything interestin after i take the evelator up?

run all the way to the right and enter quelaags lair
do not go up the lift -________- you do not want to travel all the way back to blighttown due to missing a boss lol

if youre in that tunnel that has the bonfire, exit the tunnel and turn right.. run all the way to the very end and you'll begin to see an area you can walk up that looks like a giant spiders nest.. that's because it is a giants spidernest, head inside and kill chaos witch quelaag

Anyway to get rid of those annoying Havok, Bondai, etc screens you have to go through each time you restart? I can't seem to skip them.

You can farm demon titanite from that one stone demon which respawns although it's fairly slow, nearly every other titanite can be bought from one vendor or another aside from the best variants which are either very rare drops or limited to just a few per playtrough.
(There's like what, one guaranteed drop of a titanite slab per game?)

I thought the Prowling Demons always drop them; and one of them respawns (edit: about demon titanites)
