I have finally defeated the gargolyes.Just had to cut the tail of the first one and then the damage taken was boosted.I have just defeated the capra and took me some time but i killed him like the previous one just jumped on him.And the tauru demon i defeated without loosing health.
Soloing Orny and Smough (killed super orny) on NG+. Ornstein first is fairly easy because Smough is rather slow but the other way around gave me a bit of a headache. Spend the first half of the fight making Smough block Ornstein with his fat ass. Super Ornstein is fairly trivial as long as you dodge his impale attack.
No signs around so solo was the only option. I skipped Solaire.
carpa 1st try, just use staircase, isnt that hard
butterfly 1st try, easy really, bombs/drake
gargoyles 1st try, i went other way earlier and upped my stats/armor before them, and i tried to summon two npcs (offline on FLT rls)
big rat boss - taken down with a bow
just gain acces to pyromancy, should i bump attunement and invest in pyromancy? stats atm 30 endu, 17 vit, 16 str 12 dex, rest as default - 12 atu, 8-9 or smth faith, 10 int afair. thanks to the ring from gold npc knight im running with heavy armor below 50% eq load.
that is the next recommended progression route? invest in atu, int and pyro (or just pure pyro)? what weapons will become avaliable later and with what stats they scale? getting bored of drakesword but theres no much other thing to use atm.
what location should i go next, blighttown?
btw - more i play the more i see the flaws in design of this game, progression/stats/char development wise. your char/gameplay can be so easily broken that is really sad, almost cant play this without reading some faqs here and there. ofc it can be done by your own if you`re willing to invest LOT of time in this game and go by trial and error, or even restarting your char.

you never have to restart, if you fuck up with upgrades, you just need to farm more. and yah I expect at least 100 hours for a single playthrough without any guides or help.
30 hours in all i did was kill taurus and gargoyles.
seen capra and the butterfly, but will need to farm/explore more before i can take them. will need to buy magic or lots of arrows for the butterfly, and for capra i need better stats, he pretty much insta kills me.
I've seen some youtube videos of people that are level 300'ish.. how the..?? And no they werent PC users, these were old videos from console users, maybe it's possible to cheat on consoles but i doubt it?

It's very possible to cheat on the 360 version, save editing is relatively simple, and the PS3 has a new cheat dongle (that was also cracked for 3.55 use) so cheating is possible there ... but! The level cap in Dark Souls is 710. So they may not have cheated at all, just put in a ludicrous amount of time.

Could be! He was wearing full plate armor and still running like he was wearing nothing lol. Which skill is that? Endurance? I move too fucking slow, even in chainmail armor.
Changes roll animation to a very quick flip that can be used even when above 25% equip weight.
This effectively removing any roll penalty between 25% and 50% equip weight.
Moreover, the flip has more invulnerability than the regular roll and recovers faster.
Modifies movement speed limit.
While under 50% equip weight with the ring on, it is possible to move as quickly as under 25% without the ring.
Additionally, you will regenerate stamina as if you were below 25% weight.
In other words, having the ring equipped effectively make a character at 50% weight act like he is below 25%.
Indeed, spent too many points on str and dex with my Cleric, upped them so i could use Black Knight Sword or whatever it's called (200 something damage).. the sword is awesome but slow, will i swing faster with better Endurance or do i need better Strength (i meet the requirements exactly), or are weapons fixed to a certain speed?
No the sword will always be slow being a greatsword, if you don't have the proper stats though you'll just fumble and be even slower.
There's a number of categories for weapons, ultra greatsword would be the next one for two handers which means they usually hit very hard but are extremely slow.
EDIT: And level 709 to 711 is max depending on the starting class you choose since that's when all skills are at 99 although over 50 you won't see any larger advances but it can still be beneficial to improve your character.
(Health caps at 1900 and stamina at 160 I believe.)

That's mostly for New Game+ and above isn't it?
(Hellkite giving 10.000 souls normally and then 50.000 on the first New Game+ mode.)
Apparently it scales seven times although from New Game to New Game+ it's far more of a increase than the other NG+ ones.
(Health and soul count increasing like 2x to 4x depending on enemy.)
Or kicking a cheating player into a pit of death.
(I still find that funny, read it on the Steam forums, user was around level 17 and got invaded by someone near the Undead Burg but he couldn't hurt that person at all so he did a kick attack and sent him into a ravine or such which netted a damage of 65535 and 600.000 souls, ha ha.)
EDIT: That said for fair PvP it's not nice to lure in mobs or using the environment like that as I understood it.
(Or backstabbing someone doing a nice gesture.)

Wearing the ring raises maximum equipment burden by 50%
In other words; pretty friggin' darn useful Though even with those.. it's still possible they were just cheating, lol..
but:
"1. This ring has been nerfed in the Prepare To Die edition (PC), as ninja flips now can only be performed when your equip weight is 25% or below, and has no effect for above 25%.
2. not dropped by Shiva of the East"
basically this ring is only really worth it in combination with havel“s ring now.
My main weapons atm are the claymore and the uchi both+5 im wearing elite knight armor and a +5 balder shield with havels ring, just reached capra and he doesnt seem that hard fucked up a few trys but it was my own fault. The Claymore is so far my favorite weapon, the moveset is great its not too slow like the bk sword or the zweihander and it has a great reach, uchi comes second didnt use halberd and wing spear that mutch i dont rly like polearm weapons tbh but i might get the Gargoyle Halberd later trough i hear it rocks if upgradet to lightning or chaos. I think i make the claymore a lightning weapon later too didnt invest in strength or dexterity so far mostly endurance.

The 2 comment is just to make it clear, it drops from the bodyguard and not Shiva, but the 1 comment? Lame as fuck! Now the ring is only worthwhile to people who play weightless or for combining with Havel's Ring.

capra demon isn't hard if you don't panick under the pressure
you're in a tiny room with a quick hard hitting demon with 2 dogs, the only goal of capra demon is to survive the first 20 seconds and after that it's a piece of cake
if youre dext once you get to anor londo start upgrading that uchi to +15 or pick up iaito and level that to +15 (dext weapons are MUCH better ending at +15 instead of brancing out into lightning etc)
quelaags furysword is an awesome weapon so if you still have her soul lying around i'd highly recommend making it if not for the advatange it gives you in ornstein and smough then for the awesome fire effects.
