Thinking of going for my private license, although I'm like 1 of 1 Americans here, and I'm sure it operates different around the world... but anyways, still seeking general commentary on any pilots here.

Did you not have a thread on this? something somewhere I recall.. Just shoot what you may want to know, I know myself learning in the US is a fair bit different but more access due to such large open areas you have and many many light strips about.

Not a pilot here, but I have looked into this in the past. Also I used to work with a guy that does fly and we briefly talked about this. I could copy/pasta but best look at this FAQ from the place next to me. http://www.windycityflyers.com/faq . As for the price, I'm sure it varies from place to place but I believe it was around 160-200 bux per hour. Oh, and if go through with this, I'm jelly.

complete immature attitude to flying that is, doing negative G pushovers for zero G senstations. Its not overly dangerous no, but it all depends on what he is flying, and how old the plane is lol's..
As anyone who has done any learning with material strengths will know about fatigue failure. As the airframe gets older the safety margin of the negative load decreases..
Would be a shame for him to say in his cessna pull over and the wings snap off the struts one day..
Best advice? Dont do such daring feats to excite little girls..

yes its no different in the uk, and double that if you wish to learn to fly a rotary wing.
I was fortunate as my father was Raf and his line of work after that let me get free instructing for other tasks he used to do for people he knew I was 17.
