Yeah same here its unplayable and my pc runs everything else way better it doesnt even look that great, seems like they did nothing to improve it from the bwes.

I think everyone should have an invite now! If you are having issues throw me a PM in game and I can kick/re-invite on different maps. Sounds like Lion's Arch/WvW is the way forward. I should note that I had issues with the guild stuff everywhere EXCEPT lion's arch, while there everything worked great.

anyone else keep getting dissconnected from the game? I keep getting error code 7:xxx which according to the supportsite is firewall/aw related. problem is i tried disabling my aw to no avail...

Game feels pretty solid, not gonna say more tho until i see some endgame content or some dungeons. Love the exploration + "Rift" like events, quests also pretty fun. Combat is also very nice, the system where different weapons have different attacks is sweet. Crafting/Gathering is also done nicely, love that you get good XP from it (in most MMOs this is just time waster while leveling).
As for graphics, game looks very good for a MMO and runs flawlessy (much better than SWTOR which looks absolutely shit). Even at the most crowded fights what i have seen till now its always 50fps+ (considering that i run everything on highest settings + 2560x1440 resolution). Well it should run on my system like this, but MMOs are usually very demanding after certain point. It seems also that this game is a CPU eater (like all MMOs), Phenom II 1055T @ 4.2Ghz + GTX 570 (all maxed out @ 1080p), can drop even under 20fps at some crowded fights (brother´s rig). Uses only 2 cores, so powerfull CPU needed. Minimum requirements are joke (probably needed for starting the game up) 
Anyway this is first MMO after WoW what really feels good, but i love PVE (raids + dungeons) and this game probably wont give me enjoyable experience from that aspect.

Well, at least you've probably answered definitely the question regarding dual cores... I'm really not impressed they said they would try to ensure it would run on as many spec machines as possible - and then limit it to top end quad cpu's.
Could at least offer more performance options (like low-quality player avatars for one).

Not sure how that goes really, but there have been plenty with older machines with even 8800gtx cards running it much better than some with higher systems.. must always remember when this game was started year wise, and there have been a fair share of users with high end systems having much troubles as well..
I think its going to be one of them, cant please everyone with everything all the time, but maybe it will get there in the future once they settle down more data and launch day is behind them. |

Meh, I'm running it around 60FPS, sometimes dips down to 40 but I can play it smoothly that's all that matters. Screw the rest of you  I did notice the biggest performance hit was coming from the type of rendering you choose.

So can someone explain this whole map system thing to me. I'm still in the area I first started out, so obviously not a lot of the other members are here. So am I supposed to be beating quests or something to move on or how does this work.
