As a farmer, yes. The Premium Tanks are intended for cred farming/ crew training.
But Type59 is probably a wee bit better than the T44 (the tank was based on the russian T54A, but was never near close to that).
Also KV5, Lowe, T34 or IS6 are excellent farming tanks. But the most fun to play is the Type59.
I know about premiums, i have a KV5 (which i love) and a SuperPershing (which is kinda meh). But they are both really slow and i want something faster and i saw T59 is on sale at the end of the month and im thinking of buying it.
Type59 is fast and fun to play...Have a friend that has a lot of premium tanks, but when he needs to get fast lots of money, he plays with the Type59 (now he wants to buy the Type62 light tank -tier6). Sometimes i get access to his account and play with the Type59. It's a fast tank, probably faster than any mediums of his tier, if not the fastest.
it's pretty fast...downhill! but yeah, if you go hulldown or facehug, you can troll the fuck out of anything tier8 and below (and sometimes higher) and that's why i love it.
does anyone know what sort of credit earning potential the type62 has? i've already got every tier5 light, so the only reason to get one would be that it's shitting silver after every game
56Km/h has the Type59, Panther2 has 55km/h (better with the upgrades), T44 has 51km/h, Peshing has 48km/h.
Where Type59 shine it's the inclined terrain. As a premium vehicle it's really fast. I mean neither Lowe, IS6 or KV5 can reach that speed.
actually it doesn't shine at all (at least going up) there because it has fuck all turret depression and a weak engine. and you shouldn't compare a pseudo-russian medium to heavies, especially (in order) a brick sniper, ~whatever an is6 is supposed to be~ and a well...brick which is laughably easy to penetrate from the front.

i usually do my best to stay the fuck away from "team"mates except when in a heavy and try to experiment and own stuff by myself. also got really good at smacktalking lately
but the problem with the game is imo either playing srsbiszness in a clan (including more time invested) or casually solo and getting frustrated with pubbie idiots. 3man platoons provided the best fun i ever had in this game.

Don't rush stay in group, camp, important is learning to aim and fire use tanks with good rate of fire. M10 wolverine and Sherman are good training tanks.
Seriously, used to play a lot for some months about a year ago and the grind was long enough with premium, can't even imagine how boring it'd be without.
As for faster XP in general, some very basic tip, but in order to play "good" and level up faster, there really is no magic involved: read in the official forums, much knowledge there about strengths and weaknesses of each tank. Memorize the soft spots for the tanks you encounter at your tier level. Game isn't much fun when you bounce 9/10 shots...

Why would i want to play a browser based clone of WoT , that looks like shit (compared to the original). They even used the EXACT same models for the tanks, i know those are the "historical" models, but there are enough different versions of tanks that they coulve used. How can they expect to gain players if the game dosent have anything appealing or done anything better than WoT
