I don't even know when I'll watch them. I just want to know I have them on my PC. I missed these cartoons though. I miss the times when they were on TV here too... times when there was actually a lot of awesome stuff on TV. Now there's pretty much nothing worth watching.

@ixi This is proper Transformers material, not Bay crap. It's mostly for the fans of the old cartoons, not those of the new movies. I'm really suprised how many of those old transformers they put in this game. So much win! Give it a try at least.

Haha even better then! Tomorrow I'll install it. Smile

So given that Fall is a sequel to War, should I acquire and play War first? Thanks guys Smile

You don't NEED to have played War, but I thought War was an enjoyable experience as well. Fall, is far better and can stand on its own if you have no desire to play threw the first. I also thought the story was fine in War, unlike DarkRohirrim. Smile

I am a huge fan of G1, so just following these familiar characters and settings is fun for me.

Season 1, Season 2, The Movie, Season 3, Season 4.

Yep. S3 picks up right where the movie left off. I don't know how old you are to truly understand the 80s, but if you decide to sit down and watch them, do know, there are some episodes that are very much creations of the era they came from; 80s cheese.

You can get away with watching S1, S2, the movie, and S3 and be fine. S4 kind of falls apart. Do know, the movie is a must watch, especially when familiar with the characters in play. The events in it are powerful.

I just beat the game a little while ago, and that last level is damn fun. It just ends so abruptly and leaves you wanting more.

I never said I disliked the story in War. It was good, just like all the parts of that game. It's just that this one is a more than good game.

As for the 80s... I'm fine with that. I know how these things were in that time, even though I'm from '93. Smile

Also, keep in mind that the Movie is a game changer .. for good and bad. Damned fine slice of awesome though, it's a shame it got so critically panned by... well.. the critics. Fucking hacks that couldn't cut it in Film School Laughing The movie is great and once you've watched it, once you've watched the seasons, you'll realise why the fans were so outraged at the Bayvision movies.

In that case, yes, Fall is much better than War, in all areas.

Ha! I'm almost 20 years older than you. You make me feel like an old man. Very Happy

Game changer is an understatement.

The Bay movies are a disgrace to the Transformers mythos. The only things they got right was getting Peter to voice Optimus, and the CG is fantastic on a technical level. My background is in CG, so I analyze the hell out of that stuff.

I'm up to chapter 10 on win7 x64 with no crackfix and saw no bug, what exactly is it supposed to fix? Guess I'll finish the game without, wouldn't want it to screw my saves or anything. (even if I know it would not). By the way, awesome game. Very similar to the last one, which I loved too.

Well, I finished it. What an amazing game this was... easily one of the best games based on cartoons/comic books. Every damn mission is so intense, with the last one being literally epic! I loved the transitions between the characters you play as, especially in the last mission. As I said before, I expected this game to be good, but it still suprised me a lot, being actually really great. I want more of this, I really do!

Tried to force-disable any filters and apply 16xQ CSAA but hmm doesn't really make any difference and no fps change. :\

Is that why you need that filter injector thing?

I've only played it for a couple of chapters but so far looks like a really solid tps. Great pace, proper mouse controls, very enjoyable visuals (even better with the fxaa injector) and most importantly, no retarded cover system!

Wtf! This game has epic written all over it. I never liked transformers, but this stuff is enjoyable. Good controls (wouldn't say great, this just has to be standard for every port), good graphics and amazing atmosphere most of the levels. The graphics options are a bit lacking (only low to high/extreme? where is my custom menu) though.

It's a known problem I believe, even mentioned in some of their NFO files that you need to give the files access via your AV or some such.

They're working like injectors for the game exe or how to best explain it and this process is detected and blocked by various anti-virus or malware software. Smile
(Which is legitimate as .dll injection is a way to infect a system albeit here it's used for a different purpose.)

EDIT: Had been answered. Smile

Haha xD. Yeah it's a nice surprise, good third person shooters are so rare these days. Plus anything that doesn't have the Gears of Boredom style of play gets a +1 from me. Razz

In coalesced.ini unfortunately and it's encoded in some way so it can't be edited yet.
(The only thing the game offers is basic stuff like resolution and one preset thing - which only changes texture detail apparently - so there's not much that can be done for now.)

Looks like it's fine:

Though I usually prefer to download the original release, sometimes repacks can have some problems. Razz

Anyone tried the fxaa or smaa injectors? I don't get it. It's either not working or I'm too stupid to understand how to enable it. Sad
