Finished it, with a total game time of 19h47m. Finished everything, with the exception of the lockboxes and of buying all the clothes and cars/bikes.

Man, what a awesome game. Yes, the story compared to GTA IV seems a but wobbly, with the characters being introduced by side talks basically, but the plot overall is great. The driving fits the game and we get used to it, and now I like it better than GTA IV driving, especially the bike driving. The fighting is also as we all know great, and even the shooting with its slow-mo stuff is good too.

All I'm saying is: in the end, GTA IV felt like a chore to finish (and the DLCs even more), while with Sleeping Dogs it fits just right. Yes, I could continue playing maybe for another 20 hours, but as I said it feels right this way.

And to me, while GTA IV was and is still a great game, this one takes the crown plain and simple.

Where does it show the game time?
I must be over 25h already, but still 6 missions away from the end.
I always do all the side stuff before tackling the final mission, esp. with the collection stuff I always run the risk of immediately losing interest in a game after finishing the main story.
I collect everything as long as there are still loose ends to be told, that way I can expand the excitement period.

How does this work, I moved the sleeping dogs folder into steamapps and installed greenluma, then started it up but the game does not show in my library.

Ok, I got lumaemu and copied the files into the game directory, but the DLC is still not there.
I still dont get what I'm supposed to do.
There are no instructions whatsoever to be found anywhere in the web, it was hard enough to find a lumaemu link and dear cs.rin has decided to be down again right now.

if you dont have skidrow rls - download all dlcs - someone uploaded all 9 DLC here couple of pages ago and you need hkspi.exe from skidrow crackfix

Thanks, its working now, I forgot to add the steam_appid.txt

Edit:
Ok, I identified the CHEAT DLC its better not to use them as they fuck with the balance of the game.
1E6323E1.dat - Top Dog Gold Pack (XP cheat)
576E446C.dat - Top Dog Silver Pack (XP cheat)
AC8D6F78.dat - High Roller Pack (money, car, outfit cheat)

We're also missing the .dat file for the Deep Undercover Pack http://sleepingdogs.wikia.com/wiki/Deep_Undercover_Pack none of the previously posted links seems to contain it. There are a total of 10 DLC - not 9 - and 11 if you count the Just Cause Pack.

Good to know, no big loss, its one of the less interesting DLC anyways.
The good ones are all there and now I can finally earn some Triad XP.
5 missions left and only level 7 I doubt I'd have made it with the non-dlc version.

wow nice. i love when its posible to delete these retarded overpowered dlc's.

does the skidrwo version come with any dlc's, or do i need to get em separately?

i really jsut want the high res dlc, don't need anything else since there are no stroy mode dlc's.

Skidrow has the 9 DLC's and the HQ texture pack.
lumaemu seems to be unstable, the game crashes every 1-2 hours, anyone else have the same problem?

Edit: Unblocked the .exe now in Firewall and it didnt crash anymore. Maybe it was just a coincidence?

Finally managed to download a good version and my first impressions are OK. Graphics are nice, especially the reflections. It runs decent, pretty much always 60+ FPS with everything maxed out, expect AA is on high instead of extreme. Extreme gives me 30 FPS. Controls are not 100% smooth, could be much better, but the fighting is satisfying and reminds me a bit of Batman. Tomorrow time for more.

I bought the game on steam and I was wondering if anyone knew how to make the dlc work from the pack of 9 dlc's posted earlier. I own 3, but the other ones I put in my game folder and started it up and it seems to not detect the new dlcs or the ones I care about most (which are the preorder dlcs that have missions like swat and the shaolin temple mission dlc forgot its name). Is there a certain file to mess with or any cracks to try that enable dlc?

So far from looking around the sites like TPB and demonoid ect, it seems all the cracks don't help with making the dlc work in the cracked version let alone the legit version I have on steam. If anyone can point me in the right direction or who has confirmed there is no way to do it so far, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Anyone know how to keep the game from reverting back to window mode from full screen? It's annoying. When it happens during a mission...I usual fail.

For me it does it when I sometimes start the game and I just press altENTER. As far as in game, go to your data folder and there is a .xml file you can edit for changing your graphics section. 0 is off, 1 is choice one (in menu), or 2 is a choice for the options that have more than one setting such as AA and World density. There should be a spot that says something about full screen and you should be able to change it from 0 to 1 or something so that when the game starts it's in fullscreen mode.

Only way I could think of that might help you. One of the more experienced Nfohumpers should be able to come up with more information for you on how to fix your problem.
