Should work, there's a small patch to data.exe to skip the launcher and the two provided .dll files that were previously coded.

EDIT: Yeah it works.

EDIT: It only supports proper 16:9 resolutions, running it windowed at 1920x1080 with AA off since I added the SMAA plugin.

but, from BG comments:
"The "crack" does not work. Sorry guys, it just crashes after the first cutscene."

Looks like it's working for JB

Let us know how it is

I actually had to eat so I'm still at the main menu, if it does crash it's due to the fmod .dll sound files and I'll have the proper ones decoded in about a hour (Again, if that solution works.) so it's not a huge issue.

It also uses X360 input key icons.
(A and B instead of Enter and Escape, DPAD instead of arrow-keys that type of thing.)

Game works fine it seems, no crashes yet.

EDIT: Ah it doesn't crash after the cutscene, it's after the introduction scene that appears right afterwawrds.

I could take a few from before that error screen pops-up but yeah it doesn't look that good with the settings I use, SMAA helps but it can't solve all that aliasing, lots of blur too.

Gameplay should be pretty good though. Smile

30 constantly, it's not very demanding so I doubt that will ever change.

EDIT: Here's how it looks.
(And right after that scene when you get control over your character that is when it stops working, only about 40 minutes left so it'll be interesting to see what it does after that.)

EDIT: Hmm, they actually look kinda good when viewing in that auto scaling mode instead of full resolution, SSAA could be pretty useful for this game.

Pffft, no they don't! If a game was released on the consoles first then OBVIOUSLY it looks like shit on the PC. Duh!

I'm failing to see how that's relevant when those games tend to at least let you change the resolution things render at. It was just a jab at how DS is not some kind of graphical master piece anyway.

Then don't make dumb blanket statements like "Uh yeah, it looks like shit because it was released on the consoles"

See this is taking words out of my mouth. I said when it released on consoles not because of consoles.

/edit but yeah game looks eh at best most of the time. We already know what the game looks like because of the console release. PC release has a locked frame buffer. What miracle were people expecting?

I took no words out of your mouth, I paraphrased your quote;

You're acting like people are unreasonable and lulzworthy for expecting the PC version of a game to look better than the console version. Stop it.

No I'm not. I'm just having a laugh at the PC peoples who are looking at all these cracked release screenshots and saying how bad it looks. We've seen previews, we've had screenshots. WE KNEW THIS!

You're the one sarcastically making claims. I'm not.
