"most play SP"

But how can that be? After all, D3 needs no offline mode because everyone plays MP anyway.

http://www.diablofans.com/news/1319-introducing-the-paragon-system/

Bet Sin317 will be happy now:

After you hit level 60, any further experience you earn from killing monsters will begin to count toward Paragon levels
There are 100 Paragon levels
Every Paragon level will reward you with:
Core stats such as Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Vitality in amounts similar to what you’d gain from a normal level
3% Magic Find and 3% Gold Find

The first Paragon level should take about as long as it took most players to get from level 59 to 60, and the experience requirement will rise from there. The time to reach the upper Paragon levels approximates the long-term time investment required to get a level 99 character in Diablo II.

I think, I will like this sytems, is somewhat like grind from 1-99 but still would like to see ladder seasons but doubt that wil happen with RMAH.

I guess they got idea from kripptorianoob suggestions video.

but they are putting hard cap on MF ><

I think patch 1.0.4 looks good on paper. but reality will be probably different

So basically they just upped the levelcap to 160 but gave it some fancy words Laughing

I really thought you would like this update as you were talking about getting to level 99 in D2 and how that was missing in D3

weird i have heard nothing bad about it's size. I'm usualy the one who says most games are too long, but i found d3 to be rediculously small. I don't doubt for a second what you say is true, i just find it weird.

as far as I know D2 and D3 are roughly the same in time it takes a new player to complete normal mode, which is about 15 hours.

when rushing through as an experienced player (but without someone else giving you WPs and such) I'd imagine D3 to be quicker because the outdoor areas have exits in the same locations and shit so you know where you're going. There's also less downtime like in d2 where you had to return to town to ID everything and buy potions and such and you can smash your way through mob groups more quickly due to health globes.

The value of gold is going to drop even further after the patch is out. i read that you will be able to put 1mil at time and if people go for minimum is like 4mil per 1euro/dollar(if i understood it right).

With Paragon lvls they added the first part of the end game.. what really needs now is some kind of system that give us totaly random new maps/dungeons/monsters/bosses/whatever so everytime we go play it feels diferent..

As it stands now you will do the same crap that is farming the same 4 acts and get every now and then a paragon lvl..

For the farmers its great..

ps: i been selling all the gear i had for a while and wasnt paying much attention till today i noticed those who stacked up in the beginning the plans for legendarie are for sure now making billions..
