Exactly, legit steam here as well, 1.4 and it's not fixed, not only that but the options are moving when you scroll down and change a different one.

No sausje, apparently it is not fixed. I didn't try it, but I suppose that it doesn't save my changes either. Didn't demde say, that this is a bug, that happens to the RU/EN version, as when he replaced two files with the MULTI6 equivalents, it apparently worked.

Not true. I'm running legit and the 1.4 patch didn't fix the options issue, I still have to use XML editing.

As for DLC's they will work if you start the game trough GreenLuma. They all worked for me, but when i saved and started on legit steam account and legit steam client it said that my save contains features that are not available now and i should re-install to see them again. But at least bonus exp was still there :d
These are the names for all the DLC's. Located where main .exe is and total size is around 10 KB

I'm guessing C8F81F7D.dat is the Just Cause 2 bonus. 2EE3FEA1.dat and BCF931BB.dat must be the GSP and Police Protection packs.

to be honest i dunno whether i got it after a mission or found it in a box,
i just remember around mid-way through the game i had it in my wardrobe but couldnt wear it cuz my face level wasnt high enough.

I got it with the Limited Edition. Shows up in your wardrobe right from the start, but I think it requires Face 8 or 9 to wear.

I never had any of these issues, strange.
For me the settings always saved, just need to press no on the second popup.

and D3D11Install_2010.exe redist is not responding

Actually, your statement "maybe you're not running legit afterall?" when someone claims they are? That retty much is an accusation, or rather a sly dig questioning their veracity  |

That what i did was a question with the only 2 other options available at that time for me.
And ofc he said that he got the legit, but in the IT sector, how many people claim they know about shit or they did shit and eventually turned out that they know/did fuck all?! Shittons, worked on support for an ISP company gets you to really know these kind of people.

Finished it in 19 hours or so, I did pretty much everything. It was a fun ride, I really liked it. Comparing this to GTA is inevitable since I think this is the best competition to date.
Graphics:
As most people already know, the game is great technically. It looks gorgeous and very detailed. Especially most character models are very well done (facial textures are great for example). The game looks and runs great, the feeling you get when speeding down a small alley with a car is done very well. Running animations were a bit off imo, but maybe I am spoiled by Assassins Creed. Some people have said free-running is sloppy, but it felt perfectly fine to me. Wei is not Altair, he won't jump and run like a ninja.
Story/atmosphere/characters:
The atmosphere was excellent, HK was really great. Everything, from the music to the architecture, was top notch. The city could've been (much) more livelier (but I understand that would not be possible from a technical point of view) and it gets a bit small after some hours,
Now for the biggest downfall of this game, the story. It is disjointed and a bit boring. Most missions have no clear connection and most of the time you don't exactly understand WTF is going on other than "kill the fuckers". There's this "big war" going on with 18K, but I never got that feeling. It's mostly due to the fact that you're not actually fighting a war, you're constantly rushing to some kind of ambush to kill people ("Wei they attacked spot X, hurry!"). None of the characters clicked with me either. Just when I started to like Winston, the wedding thing happened (a very nice moment btw, well done). Jackie, who was supposed to be my emotional string I guess, was just irritating. I remember a lot of excellent characters from GTA4, none of the characters here will remain in my memory (well maybe the psycho lady). This is really diasppointing since I believe there was huge potential there, an undercover cop stuck in a triad war. They tried to portray the internal struggle, but it completely failed imo. Everything could've been worked out much better, the story aspect seems a bit rushed and unfinished to me.
Gameplay:
The gunplay is nothing special and GTA did it better imo, so I won't comment on that. It works, that's all there is. The combat though pisses all over any game in this genre. No, you can't judge the combat untill you get some combos. Kicking ass has never felt this good. While it is not as smooth as the Batman games, it is much more responsive and the gamer is much more in control. If you take the time to learn the combos and actually use them, no other game in this genre will beat this game on the combat front. I also liked the minigames. They were done well and just in the right portions to not get boring.
What I did not like was the lack of imagination during missions. The missions were very predictable imo, another huge missed chance. "Shoot them Wei", "Chase him Wei", that's probably 90% of the missions.
Overall it's a very well done, yet flawed game. I was sad to see the initial awesomeness fades a bit towards the end. It is definitely worth the purchase and this is the second best game in this genre I played to date, but it is a bummer they didn't go all out. I think this game would've been better than GTA4 if these guys had 2-3 more years time/money. It's definitely worth an 8.5/10 and it come close to GTA4, but GTA4 wins because it's much more complete.

Hey, all I'm doing is pointing out the way it looked to ME. If it looked that way to me, odds are it looked that way to someone else too because it sounded to me like you doubted his word when he said he was running legit  I'm running legit (look on Steam to see the proof  ) and I'm telling you; the options don't save for me either. I haven't tried demde's fix yet, but either way.. the 1.4(?) patch hasn't fixed the issue on its own. |
Well written words can always be read wrong
Anyway, just change settings, first popup to save, press yes, second popup press no. Simple as that

Use the keyboard arrows. The Up arrow is to raise a pin, the Left is to lock it in place.
